Plano 6101 Tray Tackle Box

A great no nonsense tackle box for everything – I've got two of these cheap and cheerful tackle boxes. One for my livebaiting tackle and the other for bait fishing tackle, both of them hold a great deal of gear and carry a fair weight, especially the live baiting box. Both of the boxes are worm proof and can handle loose Squidgy's without melting in front of your eye's, like the inferior brands have a habit of doing. They only have one upper tray that'll carry most of the smaller items and terminal tackle. I store most of my hooks & swivels in their original packets as they will jumble around if the box is ever tipped over in transit or dropped. Other than that it'll hold most of the larger items that you would usually take fishing eg: spare line, sinker box and floats etc.

The one tray boxes have plastic hinges and a front metal buckle clip that's never unexpectedly unclipped - however I have tested it and it never fully opens - the buckle remains on its seat and the tackle box only slightly opened. Another handy advantage of these boxes is that they stack upon each other and don't slip off. This helps in storage and keeping things neat in the garage.

So far so good! Its been a good year and a bit for my oldest box and a little over 3 months for my second and they've stood up to the sun and heat with sitting in the elements all day - day after day.
