What a beauty! – Perfect for almost every fishing trip! Even I can cut out one of the bottom section for easy access! I spent some time to find a matching bucket in Australia because it is designed for American 5 gal bucket. Hey but Jarvis Walker bait bucket is the perfect fit! I got it from local K Mart. This is such a beauty! I can even sit on it :D Show details

Plano excellence - but doesnt fit any Aussie sourced bucket out there! – I purchased a Plano Bucket Topper tacklebox due to the fact that I would like to cut down on the amount of stuff that I have to carry in and out from a trip fishing. I would like to seriously grow a couple more arms however finding solutions to minimise what I carry would be best and fitting things into other things eg: buckets would be perfect -… Read more

however most tackle boxes dont and most tackle jumbles around in them becoming messy and anarchistic!

I got the Bucket Topper and though how good is it! Perfect in every way, fit 90% of what I needed on a trip and can make the bucket into a nice seat. The lidded part of the tackle box was heavily designed so that you can sit on top of it and it wouldn't fail. It also was a great design as it sheds water and didnt allow any to get into the inner workings - truly a great way to design a box. I also noticed that when you remove the tray inside there is a part that can be cut out so that you can access the bucket via the inner part of the tacklebox, this I didnt like nor would recommend as water and humidity will rise and damage your hooks and other items within it.

With its design there is a hole in the corner of it to use an aerator line into the bucket - this would have been a perfect lid for live mullet in a transportable module.

My biggest gripe is that when I got it from BCF I tried it with two buckets they stocked, they both didnt fit it properly. The second bucket was slightly too large and the bucket topper would not securely clip onto the bucket to make a secure lid to prevent water escaping - this partially what I wanted it for. I even tried two different buckets from work and another 3 from home - all in all 7 buckets and even measured 3 paint plastic buckets just in case.

I feel so disappointed that I couldn't get to use this excellent piece of ingenuity, such a shame as I would have been so much more less cluttered when I have to drag in so much stuff everytime I go fishing.

Prices for this range anywhere from $18 to $40 so buy wisely and look for a good bucket that fits... Should have fitted a bucket - would have cut down on things to carry in. Extremely well made and cheap to buy, lifetime guarantee Didnt fit any bucket that I could find - so had to regretfully return it.
