except me for what I am. At first POF was alot of the same. Chat, chat, chat, phone calls,text, and maybe a meet but it was always some immature girl looking to get out of a situation. Then when I was close to just accepting that I lost the window for finding the women I was meant to be with. A women clicked the like button and it was an instant connection. Now in my experience too good to be true usually is so I was apprehensive. But after laying out who I was there was no doubt she could only want one thing from a relationship with me..Me.I now know I am in love with this beautiful women and I am pretty sure she feels the same. I couldn't have made a more perfect women for myself. Now is she perfect? God no she has faults but she wears them proudly and it only makes her shine brighter. I gave it a try and after a day could no longer cope. I asked for a refund, however despite providing on more than three occasions the information required for a refund as set out in the terms and conditions, the company would not return my money. sites and I mean I've tried all of them you name it I've tried it and I've only ever had success on POF and have never on others, I have met women in person many times because of Pof, treat it like a rummage sale, have a good ol look and put in some effort. Now the pricing is a bit extreme as in $80 for 3 months but they've changed it recently back to unlimited massaging upgraded, I'd go for one month at $30. So in essence the site is full of stuck up hoes and bottom feeders hence the reputation it has but sometimes an Angel passes through and if you're lucky you might get a message through to her unless the sausage festival of 75% men stack on the message pile first and is usually the case as new members are like unicorns and get bombarded to the point they leave. And don't get yourself reported or you'll become invisible but not know it, shadow banning where you're on there but nobody can see you. Anyway the fact that it's real is great because those other sites with fake stolen profiles and AI cr#p is a lot worse because it's 100% fake whereas Pof has real members and I've met for real, Pof gives you something to work with at least because there's dead nothing without it believe me, it's the members not the site so much and I rather talk to real people regardless of outcome than some fake smoking hot AI fake promising the world. And scammers are easy to spot, use your brain. Other sites no chance at all, POF some chance but it's a chance remember that.

Don't aim too high..If they are levels above you in looks then likely they are genetically attracted to similar beauty and not much below. You can't really attract them much with your personality on there as many are talking to them and it's mainly about the photos as you know at least initially anyway. The pursuit of perfection or near perfection is the problem. Don't forget that we are all human. Honestly. It can work. Just be upbeat and honest. If you look different to your photos then they will resent the deception. Present yourself well but not with filters. Lower your expectations and be patient. The good ones are not on POF for long. When I raised these concerns with customer support, I received generic template responses that did not address the actual issue.

For a paid service, I expected a much higher standard of profile quality and moderation. Unfortunately the platform currently feels flooded with inactive or questionable accounts, which makes the experience frustrating and largely ineffective.

Because of this, I have cancelled my subscription and closed my account.

Don't bother and don't support using pof, that don't care about single people, do the right thing and don't accept ads or offers and they will delete your profile. Don't waste your time. Show details

Probably the most annoying thing about this app other than the fake profiles is the fact that there are so many ladies that haven't been online for at least six months, so it is clear that they have either given up, found somebody or just too lazy to cancel their subscription. was very long and in depth as I have a lot oh health stuff I need accommodated and they took all the words away. I contacted them and they initiated just sent me their stock standard your photos were reported for going against standards which was entirely incorrect as it was not the photos but my words. I complained again and got yet another stock reply and I complained yet again asking to talk to someone in charge & now they just don’t even answer. I’ve no idea which of the words were injected to do how the hell can I change it to make sure it doesn’t happen again? Worst customer service ever!
