Narcissist paradise, have only met abusive men with addiction problems on plenty of fish
To find a partner, ended up with abusive men with addiction problems 3 times , ended in heart break and ptsd. Would not recommend to anyone, also expensive, pay subscription then they want you to pay again

Disgraceful and downright dangerous
You’re asking me not to use aggressive language, but it’s hard not to. Basically the administrators of this site ignored my warnings of a predator who was messaging me abuse, allowed him to roam free, then deleted 3 of my photos for no apparent reason. Regular photos, well within the guidelines, that had been previously up for months with no issues. Obviously this creep launched a counter complaint on me because I reported him...and I get punished. Disgraceful.
On top of this, it is terribly glitchy, they ask you irrelevant questions like ho...
Read morew many siblings you have and your birth order...and to delete your account you have to go through their website, it’s impossible to do it via the app. Ladies, please listen up. Any creep can message you on here, and there’s nothing you can do about it. It’s a joke and actually just downright dangerous. Steer clear of this junk site!Eric WestwoodPerth, WA

Pof is just another scammer dating site with people just after your money
I thought it was time to get back into the dating game and realised the world has changed so much no one meets anyone like they used too.
So I thought I would give it a shot and oh my jebus christ what a headache of a world we live in now we are all doomed if it keeps going like this.
Know I know why so many my guys just get some random Asian girl and marry them.
I was on the site for about 4 months and in that time I realised that this site is just another scam they were happy to take my money but trying to get back a refund what a joke. I mus...

Scammers paradise
As other reviews have already said. POF is full of scammers. Gorgeous looking girls connect then ask you to call them using a link to an app asking for personal information. Don't be fooled.

Full of Scammers
Scammers like you then as soon as you start talking to them they ask you to click on a fake link that asks you for your credit card details and then your credit card gets charged anywhere between $41 to $64

If you are a guy POF doesn't want to know you!
I am a very genuine & real guy that had uploaded real (current pictures) that were not filtered or touched up in any way. I am very respectful & honest & did nothing wrong but was banned from POF after 4 days.
I've previously been on POF & have met 3 woman all of which looked much different to their pics, have lied & were awful but obviously POF don't care what you do if you're female.
It appears as though they have to cull the men as the ratio of men to women on their site is way out of kilter, because of that the women can lie, deceive, catf...

Whatever you do don't go there and don't let them video chat because they just take your money for that
Well I've been on it now for 2 days and I reckon I've received 20 scammers.. they are usually gorgeous women ... you know what they say " if they're too good to be true they usually are too good to be true "" mostly with rubber boobs and flashing them at you and then they want you to swap over to a video chat which all that does is just take your money and most of these are just scammers..... the genuine ones are usually old and fat people ... certainly one of the biggest waste of money on the market

Daylight theives
Did not use their service for nine months.. still deducted $80 from my account. I contacted them explaining that I have deleted my profile and I have not used their service for the last year and it’s not fair to deduct money from my account for the next year. Still they deducted.
They remind me of daylight criminals who have no humanity and emotions.. please keep your hard earned money in your pocket and keep away from POF !

Extremely unsafe dating app, do not use.
POF only puts temporary blocks on people if at all, because when you go back to the profile it is still viewable and when you go to block, the option is still available.
This is extremely dangerous as it allows predators and cyber stalkers to continue to have access to your dating profile, photos and information.

Full of Scammers. Same old faces.
This site is full of Scammers with fake profiles. They are usually easy to spot. It's not unusual to be sent messages redirecting to websites.
Being a mostly free site it's difficult to establish something with anyone here. People are flooded with messages.
It seems that the same old faces are regulars on POF so it's difficult to think many are genuine.
Site needs a validation process and incentives to weed out those that just use it as a play thing.

I was catfished emotionally ( not financially)
I connected with a catfish on POF. He refused to meet me. He claimed to be a venture capitalist starting a business in Singapore but based in Sydney. He is still online as we speak with different pics and claiming to have a different type of job. POF seems to attract predators as it is easy to create a dodgy profile. This person just wants to chat, nothing else.

This is a rip off with no protection for hackers.
Been on here for a years paid subscription. Renewed for another year. Got hacked and reported so pof deleted my account because of the suspicious activity from America. Created new account but lost my subscription which doesn’t expire til September can’t create new subscription as it says I already am subscribed. Pof said nothing they can do.
Cost $119 for subscription.
This is a joke,

Rip off.
Created an account paid $50 for a four month subscription. Two days later it was removed. With no valid reason. No answer from customer service. Stay away from paying money to these thieves.

Customer service is woeful
Contact pof support for the second time regards a second account hack, I begged for help. I am a full paid member.
My requests were ignored, I kept being ask over 6 times to provide my email address and user name (which I did) and today’s i received an email saying due to a violation my account has been deleted! My account was hacked I have no access to what was or has been sent on pof but Denise from customer support won’t even reply or repsond with why my account has been deleted!
For 6 days I contacted them daily and the service was horrib...
Read morele. The whole experience has left a horrible taste in my mouth. I am on top of this over 10 women a day from cam sites would message me saying “come join this site or I am women on the eve in g and go to this website to book me” The site no longer processes people they just approve everyone and obviously deleted paid customers details so they can rip you off.Questions & Answers

Why do I get matches from guys in other states and more than 25 km away.?This is so frustrating and a waste of time.
Why is there no where on the website to contact you and ask a question in my.own words? I am not very happy with this site.

Anyone else noticing they are mutual matching with people they’ve never seen let alone liked! Who is on my account liking all these people?!

Ihave been chatting to a guy from pof for a good while now and seen each other before lockdown recently my mate has seen a online shot of him still with profile set up I know he never deleted or hide his profile can you stillsee it as on line even though he swears he has not been active on their even if he says he not been on the pof ????
1 answer
To be honest you already know the answer. If he is online or he has been recently it will show. If he hasn’t then his account can still be read, liked and messaged by other people. Surely if he likes you he should just delete his account?
