Fabulous recliner – Modern looking very comfortable electric recliner. I bought 2 x 1.5 seaters. Having the extra width for your legs when reclining allows you to comfortably spread out. So far so good! – Helpful and knowledgeable staff at our Canberra store,worked with us to get the right configuration to suit our needs. After some back and fourth discussions around configurations, Jacinta returns with a quote and asks for personal details...!!!

We felt quite pushed to really think about making the purchase. All we wanted was a spec sheet so we can go home and review the layout and discuss fabrics. Not discuss price at that stage. It all felt very very pushy by her.

We left the store and felt extremely uneasy and unsettled.

After a couple of days we decided to go to the Highpoint store as we were in that area to see the sofa again. The sales staff was lovely, we told them the story, but left only to go home and discuss our options again. There was no pushing to sell..

The sofa is $5k so we wanted to make sure 100% before buying.

I called the Preston store shortly after and asked to speak with Jacinta. She apparently had two days off so I was advised by some lady who I didn’t quite get her name to call back on Friday when she returned because she was the only one who could process the order? Is this because of commission? It all just felt very pushy and unprofessional in my opinion!

So I called back on the Friday and because I was at work, whilst speaking to Jacinta she was only too eager to get the sale over the phone. I told her that I’d have to get her to buzz me back in a minute because I had someone calling me.

Literally... 1 minute later, she called straight back and said, I’m ready now... do you have the card details?!

Asking her to call me back in 1 minute was a figure of speech... again, she was really pushy and very keen to get the sale - not professional in my opinion!

I work in customer service too and I would never be so pushy with my customers... it’s a lot of money at the end of the day and she should have been more empathetic and respectful in the dealings.

We loved the sofa that much that I let this slide and she processed the transaction over the phone. To top this off, I was overcharged $285 for an extra recliner which she clearly made a mistake and soon rectified - this never happened in my first experience with Tanya.

I only wished that when we first walked into the Preston store, Tanya was there to attend to us. She was amazing in the last sale, very relaxed, very professional, empathetic and extremely courteous and respectful.

If, and only if we ever come back to Plush, I only want to be served by Tanya. No one else.

Not Happy – worst lounge we ever bought , the customer service is atrocious. You have to wait 48 hours to speak to a manager that never gets back to you. We would never ever recommend anyone to buy a lounge from Plush.  Show details

Beautiful to look at .. and envelops my body .. love this sofa – Purchased this sofa 10 months ago to replace another sofa we had for 30 years ! Used every day and have found the sofa to be well constructed and quite luxurious feel.. we purchased it in the upgraded leather, given the fact we dont change our sofa often ! would have is the lack of effective lower back support when sitting for a few hours .. remedied by a pillow but maybe a consideration for others. Make sure you try it out in the showroom and be conscious of the level of support you feel in this critical area of comfort.

Service call – We had a small problem with our recliner which after phoning Plush Preston was directed to call Customer service. Within 24 hrs we had a call from Corey re an appointment and he was here the next day at the time specified. New Store at Myaree with down to earth service – By luck we happened to find Plush in Myaree. Never heard of them before. I found Plush in Myaree customer service, non confronting,down to earth,,no push approach and thats the reason I bought this suite along with its quality and 10yr warranty

We returned to Plush – When we moved six years ago we bought two couches from Plush. Last Saturday we purchased a two Carlton Couches from Plush. Brilliant chairs, so easy to have a nap and great service from Plush.

Couch looks good but smells awful – I purchase a 3 seater Carlton chair .There is a chemical smell from the new couch and spread out to the whole living room. Had anyone has the same experience ? Please advise me.

Carlton Recliners 2 x single seats & 1 x 2 seats – We purchased the above from the Maroochydore store a few months ago, received excellent service from the sales ladies, any questions were answered confidently & quickly. Great Recliners and advise – Purchased 2 x Carlton 2 seater recliners about twelve months ago. Advised by sales person to rotate the two units to even out the wear (usage) and have done so twice already and this was a great suggestion.
