The Plucky shaver is so bad it hardly removes any hair even going backward and forwards quite a few times , the blades are quite sharp and dangerous considering it doesn’t even remove any hair. The ad looks so good but it is a complete rip off , I will never buy anything like this online ever again as people have tried to get a refund and they make it impossible to achieve a refund.it doesn’t deserve even one star .

Great first use! – Well first time use and I am very happy, the facial hair has gone and I am looking so much fresher as result. I appreciate not everyone will have same experience but I kept skin tight, followed guideline from directions and made sure skin was clean, oil free and dry before starting. I was concerned about using on my face so I used on my knee first , it hurt and left the area red and sore . A week later I was at ER with an infection in my knee at that area . Does not work as advertised on the website. Does not remove facial hair as effortlessly as shown. The Refund Policy is a hoax - it does not apply if you have used the epilator, but how would you know that it doesn't work without trying it? My advice: stay away from it!

Australia, return cost me less than $30 which sucks but isn't as bad as expected. My refund was processed the same day that I notified them of the tracking. Pluxy still absolutely suck in terms of product but more so customer service.

Second update 07 Mar 25: Today I received a second Pluxy that I obviously did not order?! Still no response from customer service at all, but they sent me a second piece of their junk instead. Weeeee!

Update: It has been over a week and not a response to my email or online chatbot request for return. Looks like I am stuck with this POS. How do we stop companies like this from selling their product in Australia and hold them to their so-called guarantees???

You know when you um and ah over buying something for 6 months, research your options, think you're finally able to make an actual informed choice based on your findings and then you bite the bullet and purchase this expensive item only to find that it is indeed not what was advertised at all? Yeah, this is one of those times.

If you're one of those people with light, fine, whispy furry features then this Pluxy epilator may actually work for you. And by light fur, I mean exactly that - those fine hairs that you see in the light on a certain angle? This might be your tool. But is it worth trying at $131 plus shipping (on special)? Probably not.

For those of us with a werewolf curse, slight or otherwise, this product absolutely sucks. It is not made for hormonal hair (or any hair).

Advertising that it will "Instantly remove hair 4x shorter than wax from the root" is laughable. I've read hundreds of reviews, from people with proper hormonal hair (apparently), people with stubble, people from all walks of life who all claim that this product works. WHY DOESN'T IT WORK FOR ME? Even on those afore mentioned fine, whispy hairs, you will still go over, and over, and over the same spot, convincing yourself that it's working...maybe it is and maybe it isn't? Nah, it's probably not. You will see some chopping and maybe feel a pinch or two (oh! that was a pluck!) but no. It's not actually happening as advertised.

This epilator also boasts being able to get into those funny angles but again, no, it just sucks. You can only hold it one way, on a certain degree, so when you need to switch hands you realise just how difficult that is, particularly in those funny areas (sideburns / alongside ears) and also be able to see around corners and egad, have I mentioned the sound? This thing is loud and sounds like a bag of razorblades but delivers very little action.

I have never requested to return something so fast. And they will make you pay for return shipping, to the US which, considering the shipping on top of the original purchase price.....eh. This absolutely poor experience is going to cost me money, weeeee!

Currently waiting on this company to contact me regarding my request to return.

They offered to do a partial refund of like $30 or something, I refused and told them that they are breaching ACCC laws and if they want to continue trading in Australia they'd better comply with our trading laws, what do you know, full refund immediately. and in fact causes redness and “gravel” rash like areas, which take a while to heal. In all fairness I tried a few times, but the outcome was always the same, so I will keep tweezing until I find a better solution.
