The extra inches they have to extend appear to be beyond their designed capacity. If you are really tall, be conscious of the bands' limits and stay well within the range after 12mths to avoid painful incidents or injury. If PTP sold the extra long bands for tall (6'6" plus) guys, I'd be inclined to trust them after 12mths.

purchased the next strength tube which was dealt with the same efficient way my first order was. I have had a physio look at the exercises that come with the equipment, and she tailored a programme for me using the examples sent with the order as not all the exercise where useful for what I was needing. The other excellent thing for me is, I do a lot of travel with my work and this is perfect to take with me where ever I go. There is always a door somewhere in my hotel room that I can use.

Not made for tall people (edit: using the included ankle straps,I can now use the Powertubes perfect – I give the product 2 stars because it is very well made but it is not intended for use by tall people. I am moderately tall , 6ft 3 inches and I can't do leg squats properly because the tubes stretch to their fullest at my height and rub hard into your back. Gutted. P.S. for 45-60 minutes indoors or outdoors, I can say goodbye to heavy weights playing havoc with my joints and maintain and develop my strength with this system.

There's better out there for the money – I decided to splash out - $129 - for the 'proper' resistance bands when I started doing Tapout XT. well made, handles are comfy to hold, if a little long once you add the shackle and band join. Just one pair though. I found this annoying considering the money I had paid. Different exercises do require different band resistance - different muscles, and so swapping is a little frustrating mid set.

Then, one of the bands snapped. Surprising too as I wasn't stretching it to full length at the time. The shop was good, they swapped it up straight away without issue.

But, my gripe with the bands is their length. The bands are the same lengths. Fine, right? No! Thicker bands will not stretch as far as thinner bands. So, I found I could not go up a band resistance on the exercises as the band would not stretch far enough! Naturally, after one snapping under little stretch I was also concerned that at full stretch I would get a band in the face!

The thinnest band is the only one I could use for most of the exercises as the bands are simply too short for many of the exercises. I'm average height at 5 foot 8 inches. If you can, open the pack in the shop and make sure you can puy the band under you feet and then raise your hands above your head like you're lifting a bar bell.

This set is probably fine for bicep work or basic leg work but not a fitness program outside of the DVD supplied with the kit. It does come with a few gimmicks and bells but, frankly, if you can't get the very basic band right, then why bother?

Just like the gym – Did my first workout today with the PowerTube Pro and was very impressed. I followed the instructions on the DVD and also did some of my own workouts.
