Renegade R3000-9 Questions & Answers
MPN: R3000-9Hi all I have a Renagade 3000 psi petrol washer. For some reason now the water leaks out of the hose to wand connection and I cannot figure out how to stop it. I have replaced washers, reconnected the hose 100 times, checked inside the coupling but just cant stop water pissing out. Please help with any ideas. Not sure if there is meant to be any sort of washer inside the coupling or wand. Cheers Hutchy
Mine had a small O ring in it that was worn and torn, guys at Trade Tools replaced it and all good. I’d take the whole hose and wand to them and bet they’ll fix it for you! Mine does leak from most connection points so I’m forever cleaning and stuffing the ball bearing joints with wheel bearing grease!
Thanks for the tip. Wasn't sure if there was an o ring in there. I'll get onto it asap. Cheers mate.
Just bought r3000-9 renegade industrial pressure cleaner.
Was wondering what soap is the best to use with the machine? I can’t find much info online and I see that karcher have a range of soaps on the shelves..
Could someone please point me in the right direction please?
In the meantime I’ll keep looking.
Thank you
Dan
Hi,could you tell me what warranty is on this pressure cleaner and where/how to purchase.cheers,Ken..0428730301
Just the standard 12 months, an excellent unit from any of the Trade Tools gang. It's got murderous power! The hose is top quality but it's like fighting a python coiling it up, I take it off the gun to make it easier.
It's got a couple of weaknesses but not major!
All the hose connection points and the interchangeable jets corrode very quickly. From Day One you really have to slather on stuff like Inoxa or Lithium grease to stay ahead of it. WD40 and the like aren't good enough.
The pull-handle is a bit short so a little hard to pull it along without it chewing into your heels.
Starts like a dream but you have to hold the gun trigger ON or the back pressure won't let you start it!
By far the best value versus performance blaster I've ever had, including the crap K-Archa junk!
You can pick up the essential rotating type jet for it for about $45.00. Does a brilliant job!
