RetroChlor CW30SC
MPN: CW30SC1 review
Retrochlor CW30SC – I thought I had better review this as when I decided to go down this road I couldn’t find any information on this chlorinator. So I’ve got the new retrochlor CW30SC. First impressions are good build quality seems to be good. Installation was very easy as it is a straight swap out cell. I went for this as I like the old school simplicity of it , and also it’s a straight swap out with the old Clearwater zodiac c170 cell. And just a matter of mounting the box and connecting the cell wires to the box. It’s only been running for 1 week now as I wanted to get the salt levels and water perfect as per its specs first. So far so good, chlorine levels have been so much more than my old chlorinator. I’ve actually had to turn in it down and we’re in the middle of summer. Time will tell In terms of its true build Quality but so far I’m very happy and glad I made the change. Ive seen it run in both polarity’s and so far the cell is keeping itself clean which is a huge improvement on my old one. Chlorine levels have been far more stable than with my old one. Will update in the future after longer running time.

UPDATE: it’s been about 2 years unfortunately the time clock has now failed which is disappointing, but I’ve opted to use a plug in time clock and with that the chlorinator and cell is still functioning well.
