Rode NT-USB Mini

I'm dabbling with creating podcasts (I had no idea there were over 5 million of them). I need good sound for the voices. I went to a local DJ City store and spent some time chatting with staff about my needs. This was the unit they recommended. This mic is simple to use. Just plug it in to your computer, load up your recording software and away you go. I can say, the sound quality is excellent. Definitely achieved the warmth I was after by tweaking the settings in Garage Band. The build of the unit is fantastic, very solid. To get best results we sat reasonably close to our mics - 15cm is good - which were placed on el-cheapo booms which were attached to the table. There's nothing more to say. Australian made, Australian owned - they're great!
