Very happy with end result, had ridgecapping done and a new water diverting system added to the roof. From the time quoted and the time they finished the job was within a week, and came just in time because then had some big rains and no leaks, good job lads.

REPAIRS COVERED AND COMPLETED UNDER 15 YEAR RIDGE CAP WARRANTY – 2013 Roof Doctors repaired all ridge capping and provided a 15 year warranty. Repair job was excellent. In 2023 after several heavy rain events and strong winds cracking on the ends of the ridge capping was reported. Under Warranty all cracking was repaired and presentation of the roof was returned to excellent. Contractor Ed was most professional and left a clean work site. Completion of this claim was appreciated.

Avoid – Called Roof Doctors (Adelaide) to have someone look at a leaking roof due to some identified water damage on the ceiling. They advised that they would have someone come and have a look on the day of the call, but never showed up. given that Roof Doctors never showed up or attempted to contact me of a delay., Later that afternoon a lady from the Roof Doctors asked if I had heard back from anybody, I advised that I had not and that as they were meant to come yesterday, I have approached a different organisation. The lady went onto say that they have had a look at the roof, at which I responded how was that possible as no one had come to visit, she replied Google Earth. I advised how was Google Earth even useful as its not a picture in real time, she went onto say that the damage was the Roof Caps and that they don't repair Roof Caps (even though their website clearly states that they in fact do deal with Roof Caps).... looking at Google Earth the picture is blurry and there is no way someone could diagnose a problem...they did not even know where the locality of the water damage was...so telling me that they identified it from a blurry google earth image is a joke...absolutely shameful way of doing business...AVOID

Mislead – My husband and I were attempting to organise a roof repair for my mothers home, I sent through an online enquiry - which in fairness was answered promptly. When Jeremiah reached out, I was at work and in the middle of trying to organise multiple quotes and ensuring someone would be present at the property to meet him. $600 odd to repair the flashing which he advised would almost guarantee the repair (he had not inspected the site at this point obviously) - I questioned what would happen if that didn't fix the issue and he said he would come back out on 3 tries to try to fix the issue then if he had to quote it further that the $600 odd would come off the quoted price. I advised him I would call back as I didn't know when anyone would be home, he seemed to lose interest in the conversation then.

A week or so later, I was at the shop with my husband when Jeremiah reached out again, I handed the phone to my husband and my husband organised to meet Jeremiah onsite to go through the job.

My husband said it seemed promising at first, however when Jeremiah attended - he cleaned some of the gutters, unscrewed and re-screwed some of the screws on the flashings and said that should do it. Didn't test the roof for leaks before leaving as he said he didn't have a hose and usually just uses the customer's hose. Told us to purchase one and test it ourselves. My husband asked when the invoice would be sent out, Jeremiah advised his office would get that organised and took his email down. Unfortunately my husband and I work 60+ hours a week each, so when we finally got around to testing the roof, about 3-4 days had past.

Sure enough, the leak was very much still present and a constant stream coming from the same places that they were initially coming from. My husband contacted Jeremiah, who was away and ended up sending out another contractor (cannot remember his name) he then advised us that we will need to replace the roof completely for approx. $11k due to the previous contractor "doing patch jobs". We contacted Jeremiah again, who said he would go back out there instead - again, we followed up for the invoice, which Jeremiah then advised "we don't usually do invoicing for cash payments" - this was a serious red flag.

Jeremiah ended going back out after rescheduling a couple of time, then we ended up rescheduling due to work commitments, then we finally reached an agreement for time for him to re-attend to tell us we will need to replace the roof completely because of the condition of the roof (not sure why he didn't just tell us on the initial attendance) - at this stage, we weren't sure what the point of the initial attendance even was. It was a waste of time and money. Again, we followed up asking for an invoice - which they finally sent out. The invoice listed slightly different work completed than what was discussed over the phone on the initial phone call with my husband.

We ended up organising another business to attend, they came out to provide a free quote, replaced flashings and guttering and tested everything, invoice sent for payment promptly and everything detailed on the invoice - all for approximately $1,200K - we tested everything ourselves also and no more leaks or anything.

Severely disappointed with Roof Doctors - unfortunately will not recommend this company to anyone.

Rude man very unprofessional – Came to re fix their own original faulty work done by them which left more leaks and more mold to appear on the ceilings of every room !! Asked if the whole ceiling was mold and he said "why don't you shut up I can't get a word in edgewise" I'd asked him 2 questions, geez ? Arrogant rude man and shoddy work that had to be fixed again. This was the Gold Coast Roof Doctor.
