Shaun from Roofshield recently restored our 20 year old concrete tiled roof & we could not be happier with his work & the end product. Roofshield did a complete restoration on a concrete tile roof on our high-set house. The work cannot be faulted - looks great and very professionally carried out with excellent coverage and was done in a most efficient and timely manner. The people couldn't have been nicer and the whole experience was a pleasant mix of a professional service carried out in a most personable way by all people involved.
I highly recommend this organisation and it's people.
So disappointed, be careful.
I have a colour bond roof that has several leaks. Rang Roof Shield and they sent a sales rep who inspected the roof and said the ridge capping was the leaking problem. I had the capping renewed then the Roofshield applied. No rain for sometime then it did rain and still leaking. After some time the person who did the Shield came, squirted a bit if silicon here and there and said it was a skylight was the problem. Had the skylights completely covered and sealed. The leaks still persisted.The tradesman who installed the capping came and ran water
... Read more over the roof and said that the capping was the problem and squirted more silicon along it. Still it leaks. The whole job cost over$7000, a waste of money. Note,the sample of their product was a lot thicker than the actual coating and as to their 10 year warranty, forget it! Don't use this company as leaks clearly are well beyond their capabilities.
Fifteen years later
Fifteen years ago I used Roof Shield to renovate my cement roof tiles. The quote was for pressure clean, full re bed, re point ridges and 2 colour coats. The workman came and pressure cleaned the entire roof. While I was at work he supposedly re bed and re pointed. I arrived home from work early PM and found the re bed and re point work completed after a very short time. I was suspicious so I lifted a ridge tile and found old bedding and point mortar had not been removed but had been covered to make it look good. I complained to the person who
... Read moregave me the quote and he made the workman do the job properly. My advice is to keep an eye on the workman to make sure he does what you are paying for. Fifteen years later (photos taken today) I high pressure washed the roof myself to remove lichen. The colour coating has lasted pretty well after fifteen years. It is patchy in places on the face but along edges it has all come away. I was wondering if I can buy more coating so I can touch up the tile edges myself please. I would recommend Roof Shield. Recently had a faded colour bond roof restored with strip, primer and acrylic recoat. Quote was very competitive compared with other quotes and work was done to a high standard, they even came back and did a tidy-up after a solar PV roof top installation and also did some minor corrective/repair work.
Service always friendly and turned up to do work when they said. Experienced and tidy tradesmen. Would recommend services again.
