scammers – roof is all cracked after 12 months, invoice states that they replaced cracked tiles but they didnt

Don’t not use. WARNING – ATO AND QBCC NOTIFIED. He won’t come back. Left plastics on roof where he bothered to cover. Painted over leaf’s and tape. Looks like a 2yr old did it.only did one coat when we were told we will get 2 to 3 coats. Demanded cash only. Beware.

Waste of money – We had our roof done by [Name Removed]. It was listed as a full roof restoration with a 12 year warranty. They left paint all over our lawn, didn't do the pointing (said it didn't need doing for 10 years) and left cracked tiles. We did not know much about roof restoration at the time. our roof which showed the pointing needed doing and told us the paint was peeling in places and tiles were cracked. We found a previous review which said that he would not come back because someone had been on the roof. We did not want to deal with the stress. To be fair we did not give him a chance to rectify the work but quite honestly we did not trust him to do it properly if he did come back. Our roof has leaked and now we have had to pay for someone else to do the pointing, new tiles and a repaint as now huge flakes are coming off the roof. On top of that we have had to pay the excess for the insurance repairs for the leak. The quote was cheap but was a complete waste of money as we have had to start all over again.

Really good job – Really good job from George and his team Did the job fast was very friendly And price was extremely good will definitely be recommending him to everyone and will be using them again

A company to avoid – Far from a great job by Rooftech / Sky Restorations. Issues included. - not making any attempt to clean the gutters out after the job, leaving me with a bill to get them cleared - breaking and not replacing a tile, leading to water leaking through my roof and ceiling - doing the pointing to such a poor standard that is now already disintegrating… Read more

I gotnin touch with [Name Removed] about the job. He was initially dismissive until I sent photos. Then he promised to sort it. He then completed ignored me before then being quite threatening when I said I'd be contacting trading standards.

I'm not the only one of my neighbours to have used them and none of spoken to are happy. Definitely a company to keep at arm's length.

Roof and driveway restoration – Had the roof work done first. George and the boys did a great job and it still looks brand new after 18 months. George came back recently to do my driveway and despite having to battle the wet weather, found a window to do the job, and a good job at that. Thank you.

George and his team did a fantastic job for my roof – George walk in to ask me if I would like to restore my house roof while he is doing the roof work for my neighbour. I go ahead with that and I got a brand-new looking roof within 2 days. His team did the work precessionally and keep everything tidy. Highly recommended!

Over promise, Under Deliver – * After only a couple of months my roof began to peel and my neighbour's (who also used Rooftech) roof has too (despite the owner, [Name Removed] , telling me there would be a 10 year warranty on the painting). * Offspray from the paint went on items other than the roof (garden furniture, shed, car) and was not cleaned afterwards. * When I did an… Read more

inspection I found that a number of roof tiles were cracked (despite [Name Removed] telling me all cracked tiles would be repaired) and the pointing was incomplete and done to a very poor standard. * When I requested this be rectified I was told the warranty was void, as I had been on the roof (to do the inspection that [Name Removed] had failed to do) and it was impossible to fix the pointing. * I've since replaced the roof tiles and redone the pointing myself. * The gutters became full of debris and blocked, which took hours for me to clean myself. * I've had numerous leaks and had to fix damage to a valley gutter that started leaking after Rooftech were on the roof - this has also caused damage to internal walls, ceilings and cornices, all of which I've had to replace myself.

There have been numerous complaints listed on the Northern Beaches community Facebook pages about the poor quality of their work.

Avoid at all costs.
