Roost Laptop Stand

I love it – I've had this a for couple of years and it took me a while to grow to this product. I actually love it. It's mobile and really useful when you're working on the go (i.e. I work at a hospital). The major benefit is that helps with posture and prevents neck pain for over-extension.
Saves my neck - quite literally – After recognising that my neck and back pain stem significantly from postural issues, I asked my partner for a Roost laptop stand for my birthday. Can I rate it six stars? If you look at my review history you'll see I'm not usually a happy camper. But this thing is great. It just say exactly what it does on the tin, does it right, and does nothing else. I carry it in my laptop bag with a USB-RF keyboard and mouse (because bluetooth sucks) and it's just magic. My laptop is a Lenovo T460 Self Defence Brick ... ahem, I meant laptop ... and this stand doesn't care about the weight one bit.
Pros: Strong. Light. Compact. Simple. Stable. Pretty easy to deploy and position. Super easy to securely place laptop, which is GREAT. Totally secure, nothing's going to fall or tip. Does wonders for my posture, and helps me keep my laptop at a safer distance for my eyes too.
Cons: The price. Ouch. Also, it could use a second set of rubber feet on the other ends of the legs to make it more stable on surfaces, but unless you have kids bouncing around it's not going to be an issue. Easy to stick some on if you need to.
It's very slightly fiddly to initially open, but really a very minor niggle.
You will need a portable external keyboard and mouse. I am pretty happy with my Microsoft Desktop 900 combo for it; it's a matching size to the stand and is nice and light.
