As advertised the kettle is very quite, and also is light, so good for elderly who have problems lifting thing. The only problem is it does not have a plug top to suit Australian power outlets ( refer to photo)

 Follow-up  · Purchased an adaptor for a few dollars. Very happy with this kettle, it is definitely lighter, and quieter than previous electric kettles that we have had.
