Burns toast every time! – I bought this toaster due to the statement that it had “fast toasting technology” but couldn’t find any information about this... what is super frustrating is that it cooks toast unevenly. Burnt at the edges and not brown in the middle. Worst purchase I have made in the past 10 years...if I could take it back I would!

Purchased in at Target Australia for $100.

Tinny and cheaply made – Bought this toaster along with the Elegance kettle to replace our old toaster and kettle from Russell Hobbs. The old ones were well made and of good quality. The new toaster is different. First, it's very tinny. It reminds me of a $10 toaster from a bargain store. I purchased it online so I didn't find this out until it arrived. Second, it's terrible at cooking toast! You get burned on the bottom, cold on top every time. Third, it has 6 levels of toasting, and levels 5 and 6 are unusable as they'll incinerate anything you put in there. Fourth, it's internal 'mesh' is too wide and toast or bagels always get stuck inside. Fifth, it doesn't remember your selection between uses so it always starts at 4 - fire on the bottom cold on top. As the original one failed after a few weeks we were sent a replacement. Both toasters had the same issues.
