Russell Hobbs Heritage RHK32POL (Polished)

Very disappointed – I haven't even had this kettle for 3 years and it is falling to bits. 6 months ago, the black lid piece started deteriorating, leaving black flakes in the water and on the bench. Then it just broke off completely and won't re-attach with the original screw. Started leaking from the bottom a week ago. So disappointed with this brand. Cannot bring myself to trust Russell Hobbs products ever again.

Wouldn’t buy one again – It looked good and was a similar style to our toaster which is one of the reasons why we bought it. And it boiled water as you expect and yes it was easy to use and holds a decent amount of water. But its very much a case of looks over quality. Russell Hobbs offer a 2 year warranty. So at 2 years and 4 months, ours started leaking water through the base which trips the circuit breaker. Its reasonable to expect that a kettle would last longer than this. Though it did last longer than teh Breville it replaced. Will be buying a different brand this time.
