Russell Hobbs Siena Kettle – I received a Russell Hobbs kettle for Christmas 2015 and have taken it back to the Good Guys a month after it was purchased because the button to open the lid had to be pressed several times or pushed in hard with 2 thumbs before it opens, got an exchange for another on and after 3 weeks of replacing the kettle, the same things is happening again. (Not happy). Don't buy Russell Hobbs Kettle.

Leaker! – Started leaking after a year, probably via the plastic window. By 2 years, the leaking became worse, and the plastic window became loose, manifesting its disintegration and the demise of the kettle. Give me a kettle without plastic please! and one that lasts for more than a year or 2.

Delighted with this, looks and performs great! – I was looking for a traditional looking white kettle when I came across this. Absolutely love it and looks great on the kitchen counter, Easy to fill and comfy handle for pouring. Boil time nice and quick and not too noisy. Very happy !

Russell Hobbs Seville Kettle 18152AU – After a massive amount of research I settled on this kettle thinking it would be of good quality. On first use the water started leaking around the base where the metal meets the plastic. I took it back the same day. I purchased the Kmart Homemaker kettle which looks almost identical and it has been great. Leaked water from base on 1st use
