Stainless plastic? – I don't see the point of buying a stainless steel kettle that has a plastic sight guage. Every time you are boiling water, you are boiling it in plastic.#daft
Petite & great to use! – I bought this kettle as my previous Sunbeam kettle was a trap to use. The pour on the sunbeam made the water gush out burning anything in its path and took up way too much space on my counter. When I saw a family member use the Russell Hobbs Studio Kettle, I couldn't resist with the price being so cheap. The kettle is simple to use, holds 2-3 standard mugs of water and the pour feels guided and narrow stopping any spill or injury to occur. The kettle heats up quickly and it is easy to see the water level. My only issue with the product is the max level being only 2/3 full and if water is over this line, even just a little bit over, you can see drops of water trying to escape around the lid. Don't let this put you off though. Overall, it is still the best kettle I've ever had.
Purchased in at The Good Guys for $49.
