Surprisingly Usefull – I didn't think that I would need a battery powered stapler, so I never bought one for myself, however I received one as a present and was shocked at just how useful it is. I've used it now many times for jobs that I previously would have used tape / glue / zippy ties etc and it is so good. Granted, at almost $200 (without a battery) it's a lot of money so I understand that it needs to do a lot of jobs, and well, to justify itself but I believe that it does just that. You can adjust the amount of force that the staples are driven in with to suit the job, it's fast to reset between shots, and the magazine holds heaps of staples so there's less time climbing ladders / reloading. It will take staples from as short as 6mm up to a maximum of 14mm and with a corresponding adjustment to the force this will suit every job from thin plastic sheeting up to joining (small) timber together - so much better than a hammer and nail.

I was worried that because it is physically heavier than its manual counterpart this would make it unwieldy when on a ladder etc, however it actually makes it easier because there is no force required to shoot the staple, just a gentle tickle on the trigger.

I can highly recommend this product - not only is it better than a manual stapler, it's often better than other forms of joinery.
