The ryobi 150mm circular saw 18v is useless with your small batteries it sucked the life out of three of small batteries to cut a length of wood around 3 feet long very disappointed had to use the large battery
bought in December for a few DIY projects. Worked ok for the 1st few weeks and then started getting stuck when cutting. It has eventually given up and died completely now after 3 months. Show details
Great value saw – This is a great saw for the price. I’ve done a tonne of work with it and it does perfect cuts every time. Show details
Be wary – Had earlier version came with laser light guide, new one does not. I burnt out motor on my old one trimming a door which is fine but it would not cut straight even with guide. I bought new one but have not used. Then unbeknown to me my son bought one also and had the same trouble not cutting straight. Took it back to Bunnings for refund and funny… Read more
enough Bunnings salesman knew about inherent problem with cutting straight. Got his money back no worries. Just warning you, try to find an experienced staff member before buying.
Faulty design – I had to return this unit as the dust port was so loose it just fell out of the saw. Bunnings checked another unit for me and it had exactly the same issue. Bunnings suggested I should just wrap tape around the nozzle so it jambs in and holds but I am not prepared to buy a unit that has to be crudely modified just to work as expected. If you… Read more
don't want to connect your vacuum as a dust extraction system, I am sure it is perfectly OK. My other Ryobi 18V tools are great.
Great tool does as asked – Great circular saw. Bought it yesterday. Lightweight and easy to use. The base plate is easy to unlock and adjust the depth of cut. Not very noisy and really good on the battery life ( I use a 2.5 AH). Cuts through pine sleepers with a breeze. So much better than my corded Ryobi which sees little use. Does not have a laser guide but hey you soon… Read more
get use to it. Oh and apparently the blade is mounted on the left side instead of the right. Does not worry me as I prefer it this way being a lefty :) Really can't say anything bad about this saw. Has a surprising amount of power and is well made. Great for us DIY and home hobby people.
Quality for a good price – So I had been putting off buying an 18v saw as I was not to shore about how well it would work, but I was pleased when I tried it out and it worked very well with fencing and structural pine it's not as quick as a 240v plug in and hard wood will slow cut speed but it surprised me how smooth it cut I would recommend it to anyone who would use it as a hobby saw for home use Show details
Nice little circular saw – This was my first One+ product and I’m relay happy with it. It’s light and well designed ergonomically. The battery system works well and I get plenty of usage before a swap out is needed. The only negative is it’s a little gutless but totally expected for a battery tool. Don’t be put off by that. Blade change is quick and easy and this thing gets way more use than my power (plug in) saw. Show details
