Sabco Comfort Plus Ironing Board

misleading description on wrapping – I bought this board, used it twice ,I have to take it back , it wobbles when advertising says it doesn't??? This was the reason I bought it! The iron holder when the iron is on it, touches the chord holder which folds down as you iron at the pointed end . I called Sabco consumer line and was told they have never had a complaint about wobbling, she was not happy I mentioned "made in China" . It appears most of them are , yet they are not cheap to buy , and are not fit for purpose . I doubt any designer ever did ironing on this this is going back for a refund .

Buyer beware! – Had an old Frazer ironing board....probably more than 30 years old! Still workable but decided to update. Looked around not much on offer. Saw the Sabco ironing board in Big W. It has all the features you need. Took it home and set it up...oh boy. It's not as sturdy as proclaimed on the packaging. It wobbles unbelievably that we've had to of put tape around one of the feet to get it level and stop the wobble. The tray under the board that holds ironed clothes doesn't sit straight and bounces around whilst ironing. When ironing the actual metal board buckles up and down (with an audible noise) with the heat of the iron. I guess I will have to add more felt at my expense to stop that happening. The only good thing about this ironing board is the retractable iron holder. I doubt this board will last 30 years.
