Fantastic size to use with multiple programs – Recently purchased this monitor as I wanted to switch from 2 monitors to 1. This is the perfect size and the picture and sound quality is superb! The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is because the stand that is comes with, is non adjust stable it can only tilt so that is a bit of a down fall but other than that, very happy Show details

A really good screen if you know how to set it up – After 3 years as a self-confessed card-carrying Samsung nut on a 27 inch Samsung flat-screen (which was very good) I've been wanting a bigger screen for a while now. My home office is geared up for FHD at 1080p HDMI with audio playback, so this screen seems to fit the bill. At time of purchase it is the least expensive Samsung monitor in its… Read more ·  1

class. This screen takes a bit of skill to set up well, and this shows in some other user feedback I have seen. People say the screen droops or tilts down - it actually has about 25 degrees of adjustable vertical tilt, but its quite stiff to adjust so is best done on a floor rug, not in-situ. The in-built speakers are of fair quality, and deliver a modern fulfilling sound, in good stereo via HDMI although I had to select the right sound mode for good tone (1 of 4 modes). The picture straight out of the box is average, but with a few tweaks it quickly became very good - sharp, vibrant and dynamic as we now expect from Samsung. I use it for all manner of office work, TV (regular and internet), Netflix/Stan etc, and am very satisfied with the picture and sound and physical attributes. The picture seems very stable - doing something on one part of the screen does not affect other parts of the picture (as I have seen on some other screens). I am seeing fine details on the new screen that I never even new were there using my older screen. I had read that some users got headaches from the screen. I certainly have not experienced anything like this, and I would suggest the headaches are caused by having the screen far too bright. Glad to see Samsung have finally cracked the code on monitor adjustment buttons. Gone are the "5 buttons from hell" underneath to make way for a single, 5-way joy-stick rubberized button. The new button is literally joyous to use, its very easy and intuitive. Some other points - the screen comes with basic cable management clips built in to the back, all good and easy to use. The bezel is thin and dark, so in a dark room it "feels" bigger than 32 inches. This screen also has a small footprint on the surface where you place it. Much smaller than most modern screens which have very wide, often unattractive feet. I do experience very small amounts of flicker, but only when changing sources, which is more than acceptable. The screen comes with a Free-sync function built-in, but I have not had to engage it. The screen is supplied with stand, paperwork, and a high quality HDMI cable. There are power saving modes that I am still playing with, but seem to work as advertised. The screen has a matt surface so there are virtually nil reflections. All in all a very good screen for the money, with only a few limitations- - the curve takes a little getting used to, but is really very enjoyable and immersive - it is NOT wall mountable - it is not by any stretch a gaming screen (and doesn't claim to be) but very suited to home office - picture tends to be too bright out of the box, tone it down for best results - the stand is ingeniously simple and very good once set up, but a bit hazardous when moving the screen around during set-up. You should hold both the stand and the screen when carrying it. Very happy, I feel like this screen will help me get lots of work done and enjoy the downtime too. Good job yet again Samsung.

nice aesthetics – Got this on a 27 inch version, good for productivity use, good sounding speakers, but not so much for gaming, ghosting and bleeding..even settings h been tweaked same results.old tech just curvier.imo. Look elsewhere if planning for gaming as well,I reckon samsung used the same VA panel from the CF390 and then make it curvier 1000R. Show details

New technology but have terrible headaches – Bought this one to upgrade my aging Dell 24" monitor and looking for the monitor that has got the great features for eye comfort as I work long hours for office assignments, this monitor has ticked every thing what I was looking for as it has eye comfort view, most curved monitor in the market R1000, and size is also too good 32", got this one… Read more

from JB Hifi after a long chase as supply issue in Australia, but using after 3 days, i had severe headaches and was feeling uncomfortable to concentrate on screen, eventually have to return this back to store, and now upgraded to Dell 27" U2719D which is though not curved but have eye comfort view as well, and I have got no issue of headaches at all, this monitor 32" by Samsung is less expensive than Dell 27" and also have curved screen, but have no comparison to Dell quality.
