Two monitors in one
I initially considered buying two new monitors but realised that the cost of two 24" monitors would end up costing more than an ultrawide monitor. So, I did some research and settled on this 34" wide monster which has exceeded my expectations. I am a developer, so a monitor with decent brightness and ability to display colours properly is essential. Out-of-the-box this monitor stuns. A tonne of connectivity options and an awesome feature to do PIP (Picture in Picture). You can split the display and show two separate sources at once or you can u...se this as two monitors on the same computer. For example, I sometimes split the monitor in two: one for my MacBook and the other half for my PC so I can use two computers on the one screen which is awesome. Highly recommended.
