contacted support. Over 40 minutes talking to Samsung "Expert". I asked for help haw can I connect Samsung TV to my stereo. I was getting so many not helping advice, some even with my little knowledge was just bad. I was repeatedly asking to talk with someone who would be more experienced. After 40 minutes I gave up. We are so sorry we purchased this TV with our experience SONY was much better.
Overall I have been happy with this TV. For bang for buck it gives you a great picture with great functionality. As with all cheaper models it lacks depth in the black and dark colours - hence the 4 not 5 stars. Show details · 1
Samsung TV plus is The Nanny. The Ad for The Nanny will fill most of your home screen. Don't like The Nanny? Remove Samsung TV plus. Now your screen will be filled with popups warning " Information. You have disabled Samsumg TV plus. To keep watching The Nanny, press restore". These will interaupt your viewing indefinitely. For me, six months. Really?
TV displays previews of TV shows for apps like Netflix etc - only problem being we have kids and the TV is showing previews for shows that aren’t rated for kids (and can be scary) Contacted Samsung and they said they don’t have a setting to turn this off. Great TV but unfortunately damaged – Great Smart TV for its price (I got it on a good discount). Had all the features one could ask for. Great display and sound and a huge improvement on my older TV in terms of performance. Operating System was smooth and I could easily download all required applications. Shame I can't say much about how well it would have performed after some time, as my toddler accidentally broke the screen within the first month.
Ticks all the boxes and more you didn't know about yet – Excellent picture and modern features. The Xbox streaming app is a real unexpected bonus. Connects from my PC & mobile wirelessly for screen sharing, Ajay also has smartthings built in for controlling those iot devices from your tv. channels that are baked in. I have my sound bar which is A sound comparable allowing my soundbar to use the built-in speakers adding to the Dolby Atmos fitout. This set has successfully done everything I have thrown at it.
Good Bang for Buck – Amazing TV does everything you want Has a very vibrant picture the processor seems reasonably fast. I like the automatic changeover to HDMI if you activate your game console. The ARC works well with the soundbar and controls with the one remote even better. Overall a really impressive TV for a decent Price. Show reply
Limited connectivity cannot connect to surround sound system – No digital optical out. No HDMI or anyother audio out except the latest eARC connection and Bluetooth. The next model up, the eled modelhas a digital optical out so why cut costs on on this $1799 tv. Guess I am supposed to buy a lame Samsung soundbar and chuck my full surround sound system?
