Horrible customer service on faulty product – I purchased this panel late August. Delivered sept 7. Faulty out of the box with flickering left side of panel. From this point I have been given the absolute run around by Samsung trying to get a replacement. Now 6 weeks late I still don’t have a panel and no ETA on replacement. Meanwhile they are selling and supplying new panels to other people. What can I say? Don’t EVER buy direct from Samsung. A total nightmare of biblical proportions. Worst customer service EVER. Other than that this monitor appears to have massive Q&A issues lots of DOA units reported on reddit. Samsung want to sell direct but do not look after the customer at all. I know of multiple people who had dead units and just ordered another because customer service have left them in the dark. Hopefully they fix this mess as I will never buy direct from them again.

Purchased in at Samsung Online store for $3,199.

Have just been told a replacement wont be available for another 5 weeks (the third date I have been given) and this is after Samsung have been selling stocks to new customers. Have lodged a complaint with NSW fair trading. Will never purchased goods directly from Samsung again. Just buy from Harvies or JB. They give you good customer service.

Odyssey Neo G95NC has major connectivity issues – Image quality is quite good. Size is good. I'm giving this 2 stars for major connectivity issues. I have an old laptop and a couple month old PC I bought for 7.5k with all the bells and whistles including an RTX4090 graphics card. The PC still works fine with my previous widescreen Del monitor. However with the Odyssey Neo I can only connect to my PC if I connect the HDMI3 port on the Odyssey Neo to the Display Port on my PC (fortunately I already have a cable that does that). Using the display port cable that came with the Neo I cannot connect display port to display port and get the screen working. I also can't connect HDMI to HDMI. The screen insists it has no signal unless I connect as described (it won't work with any of the cables that came with the monitor). Same deal with the laptop. From my PC (absolute state of the art) I cannot get a display bigger than 3080 x 1080 (though supposedly the Neo can do 7680x2160 at 240Hz). I also cannot run faster than 60Hz. I can't be bothered returning I'll just live with the 3080 x 1080 at 60Hz. On my ancient laptop I can run 5k by 1k resolution but when I switch the cable from the laptop to the PC the screen insists it has no signal unless I go back to the laptop and change the resolution to 3080 x 1080 then plug the cable back into my PC. This is really disappointing for such an expensive screen.

Thanks for replying. I should update my original comment to say that I have since watched a review video that points out that it is the RTX4090 card itself that cannot drive the screen at the maximum resolution (because it doesn't use the latest version of display port or something. Possibly something Nvidia can fix with a driver update). I still think it is a flaw that the screen does not appear to be able to detect what port is connected (but must be manually told). I agree that with more research and seeking help I may be able to get my issues solved (though I think things should work out of the box). Apart from sub par connectivity set up I will say that image quality and size is good though.
