Samsung has now started pushing ads to the home screen of its smart TVs. I paid for the TV, it didn't have ads when I bought it, it belongs to me, not Samsung. If they want to 'monetise' me by selling access to *my* TV to their advertisers to shove ads down my throat they need to pay me. Will never buy another Samsung anything. Show details
Very poor service samsung – 3 moths old and dont work anymore samsung told me up to 7 days before someone would contact me and still nothing 2 weeks later. customers it has been over 3 weeks now and still not sorted out they offered me a refund but stuffing me around they said they will send someone out to collect the tv and when it gets to there wherehouse in Sydney NSW then my refund will take 7 to 10 days. I bought it and live in QLD NOT NSW. I will never buy another thing made by samsung cheap crap and charge us top dollar. When you talk to customer service you get someone from another country and can not understand what they are saying. Finely it has been sorted out over 2 months to sort this out. I got my money back. Smarty Samsung! – Very happy with this TV. Never had a smart TV before but should have got one ages ago. Excellent picture, Easy to use once you work it out. Plenty of features but mainly just set up and forget. Good access to Internet/apps and streaming chanels. Very good TV, not the cheapest (or most expensive) but good value I think. Great TV with a not so great remote! – I purchased the 2022 85” model at the end of 2022 so have been using it for a while now. I actually really like the TV! really like the auto filmmaker mode which sets up the TV for some movies how they were meant to be watched. I wasn’t sure at first but gave it a go and stuck with it a few times. Glad I did. I can’t talk to sound so much because I’ve never really used it much. I have a 5.1 Surround Sound system plugged in.
I only really have two downsides with the TV. On occasion, it does get some pixel ghosting but it’s not super common. A good example is when there’s a smaller object moving quickly across a relatively blank background. For example some scenes in Top Gun where the plane moves across the sky. But it’s not really bad and it’s usually quick and done. Then again this isn’t a $10K TV either so can’t have it all.
The other downside is the remote. I don’t mind the design and feel of it so much but rather the build quality. It’s REALLY let Samsung down. Mine stopped solar charging and started draining really fast within the first month. Basically it would be flat every day even if you charged it via USB and made it unusable. Samsung support was really helpful and they were able to get another out to me which is (fingers crossed) still working ok for the moment but I’m not holding my breath.
The worst service (or rather non-service) ever experienced – We ordered and paid for our Samsung Q series TV on 2 March 2023. It is now the 8th of May 2023. The TV was to be delivered to a regional address which Samsung confirmed on ordering would be no problem and provided a date for delivery. property. However, our story did not end there. Upon opening the box, we found the TV screen was cracked. I cannot describe the number of times we have telephoned and contacted customer support only to be told the exact same thing "Your case has been escalated"! Samsung obviously do not understand the meaning of the verb "to escalate". Another 3 weeks has passed, and we are still waiting on Samsung to "approve" and "collect" the defective product let alone deliver a replacement. Never ever have I experienced such appalling customer service anywhere in the world. If you are in the market for a TV (or anything made by Samsung) Do not buy Samsung. They do not appear to understand the basics of Australian Consumer law let alone the basics of good customer service. Hopefully, one day, when (if) we finally take delivery of a functioning Q series TV I will then be able to rate the product.

Kids love it – Had purchased in Black Friday sale from Bing Lee at 40 percent discount. Has never given a chance of complaint. Updated after nearly 2 years of use. Have tried few different settings but could not set a default low volume. Every time we switch it on it starts with bit loud volume and every single time have to manually reduce it. Show details · 1

Worse product I’ve owned!!! – I purchased a Samsung 75inch QLED Q60B TV a few months ago and noticed it had excessive clouding around the tv when it’s a dark scene in a movie/game or TV show. I got some answers after I contacted them again and they said that it is a normal problem and is not a manufacturer error and can’t give me any solution besides me paying for a authorised service place too try and fix it and some nonsense about a voucher code!! Something as bad as this problem with their TVs should be clearly explained too people purchasing these products!!
Will never purchase Samsung products again!!!

Clouds in dark scenes and terrible Samsung Customer Support – Shocking customer support and warranty service. TV has been repaired twice under warranty and still has a faulty mounting hole. Fault has been reported by authorised repairer sent by Samsung but Customer service is refusing to repair even though TV is still under warranty. And yes, annoying clouds very visible on dark scenes. Nice quality, great in a brightly lit room – Purchased this brand and model because I have a lot of large windows with natural light in my living room. mixed feelings about the remote - I was really pleased that it was so sleek and compact, but really disappointed it was a chargeable remote and did not have a charging cable included. Probably ok if you have Samsung phones in the house but I do not. There was enough charge out of the box to set it up but a bit annoyed I had to purchase a cable. The volume up/down was a bit tricky to figure out because the limited support material didn’t demonstrate how to use it. Took a lot of us to work it out. The mountings for this TV are also a lot higher up for the wall bracket which means it sits a lot lower than my LG, so something to look out for if mounting to an existing mount. Happy with picture and sound quality (not using a sound bar). Settings and menu options clear and easy to navigate.

Goodguys to tell them it's unacceptable. Samsung representative was there and explain to me that cloudings are normal on this cheaper Samsung's models from 75" above. If it is normal then they shouldn't sell it to customers or at least give us a warning before we buy it so we can think twice. Anyway, he offered me an option to upgrade to a more expensive model. He said that's the only solution.
By the way, there are some good features on this TV. I'm satisfied with operating system and apps and easy to set up. I would give it 4-5 stars if that cloudings around the screen is not there, it's annoying! Don't buy it or at least get a guaranteed statement from manager or salesperson that they will refund or exchange the TV if you're not happy with it not handball you to Samsung's Customer Service.
