I always have bought Samsung TV’s. This one was brand new in April 2025. When set up a few weeks later the aerial port just fell off! Seems it’s a known problem. I contacted Samsung and Bing Lee. It is my fault apparently. So disappointed. Quite appalling customer service from Samsung. Samsung customer reference 8277742834.

Two months after buying this tv brand new the sound started to have issues. It sounded drummy and distant to the point you could barely hear it at maximum volume. Once reported to Samsung with a very long and difficult phone call with someone overseas they eventually agreed to send out someone to repair it. They congratulated me on getting a free repair. Not sure a two month old tv requires me to pat them on the back for sending someone out. As lovely as the third party service people were the firmware upgrade provided to them by Samsung failed. Ever since then Samsung has been extremely difficult to deal with. They don’t categorise it as a major fault. Sound not working would be in my books. They closed the service ticket as once it was working again they considered it sorted even though it failed within 24hrs that way they meet their successful service targets even though it makes it even harder to get something fixed as a user. Currently it is waiting on technicians overseas to solve the problem. I have been offered a service call with technicians offshore this week but since I know there is no solve currently available it is apparent this is just to get me to stop calling and waste a day off work. I used to love Samsung products but pretty upset with this service for a brand new tv. Be warned if looking at the Q series as they don’t know how to fix the issue currently.

As the TV has still not been repaired nor has a replacement been sorted I have had to escalate the issue to the ACCC which I told Samsung about and it didn’t faze them at all. Don’t take the response above from Samsung as a sign they are actually acting on an issue it is all for show. Highly suggest you look at other brand TVs if reading this review as this is not how you should be treated for a new appliance. We had a LG fridge that broke recently that wasn’t that old and they had it sorted within a couple of days.
The lies have continued, suddenly they told me they could repair it. Said it is being organised and have gone quiet again. ACCC is involved now. What a disappointment Please avoid buying a Samsung if reading this
Was promised a resolution today as another repair has failed. They have failed to get in contact as promised and we are still without a working tv. Shocking service
