Remote control is its shortcoming! – After going through the settings (picture, audio, etc.) the picture quality is actually quite good. The build quality is pretty good too. What let's this TV down is the basic simplistic (make that budget) remote control unit. Being used to full function remotes this is really annoying when changing channels, selecting another input, etc. Also the… Read more

joystick control isn't easy to operate in a dark room. The other difficult to disable feature was the really annoying voice prompts. Thankful I "Googled" it & found the answer. The menus are certainly not user-friendly. Maybe the speach recognition feature is the way to go but that's never been our thing. Luckily it's only being used in a short stay holiday rental apartment but honestly we would not buy this model & possibly not any Samsung TV.

Biggest Mistake - Delicate/Fragile Screen - Lasted 2 Months – I should have read the review, looks like many have been affected with the same screen problem or some kind of issue with Samsung TVs. I have made the biggest mistake by purchasing Samsung Q60T 75inch QLED TV, I bought this TV on black Friday sales 2020 from JBHIFI Narellan Sydney for just $ 1700 and $400 Q60T Sound bar, the manager said it will… Read more

be del by by 31/12/20, TV delivered on 31/01/21. The TV was okay for close to 2 months.

My head ache with this TV started on 24/03/21, on 24/03 morning I carried my daughter to leave the house, her foot made contact to the TV (please note it wasn't a knock, or hard noise) nothing noticeable, was a normal morning, back from work in the evening I turned on the TV, I saw a black screen about 20 cm X 60 cm with a slight internal crack inside the screen panel, nothing on the outside. I was very shocked to see the damage inside the screen panel, we have had knocks from other less expensive TVs in the past, a toddler's foot contact CANNOT cause an internal crack and it goes to show the low quality of the panel.

I have raised this with Samsung the following day as it was too late to call their contact centre, I spoke to their customer service care team, 1st I spoke to [Name Removed] he said he will book an inspection with the service centre, he also gave me a heads-up that they may not cover, in that case I can dispute it and escalate the matter to Samsung, he said the repairers will contact and book a time to inspect the TV, I got a call from Southside Electronics - Samsung repairer, asked for photos, I sent them photos, they said they cannot cover it, said it will cost $1400 - $1700 to repair. I said I will get in touch with Samsung. I called 29/03 and spoke to [Name Removed] (2nd CS agent) said she will make a note for the VOC team to contact me in 24 hours as I disputed it, no calls, again I called just after Easter weekend 06/04, I spoke to [Name Removed] (3rd CS agent) said VOC doesn't handle this, will escalate to the management for someone to call me in 24 hours, no one contacted me, I sent an email to them 09/04 about the matter, I received a response from [Name Removed] (4th CS agent) said that someone will contact me in 24 -48 hours, still no one called me. I will continue to follow up and will keep you all posted

I seriously want to know why a BIG BRAND like Samsung sold a delicate or dodgy screen panels/TV, they sold it for a cheaper price and people fell victim for their cheap items and marketing, maybe we had to buy normal price this wouldn't have happened? I hope Samsung can resolve this smoothly and swiftly.

2nd Screen after 4 months. CRAP!!!!! – After approximately 2 months the screen had a vertical line appear. Went through the whole process with Samsung which was pretty painful. Had the screen replaced under warranty. 2 months later a horizontal line appears and Samsung are going to replace the screen again. Asked for a refund as this is not acceptable. Told they will only offer a refund after 3 failures. Absolute joke. I would definately not recommend Samsung TV'S. Show details

Backlight Bleed – I bought this TV in mid-October2020. Terrible Backlight bleed occurred about 3 months later. I contacted Samsung Support first. I followed their instructions for about 2 hours, but it was no improvement. The staff who responded explained that if there is a fault with the product, it will be eligible for a refund. A week later, a technician… Read more

arranged by Samsung came and certified that there was a product failure. He returned without repair.

Later, there are complicated and miss communication caused all situations, each representative of support centre staffs, not enough training. They gave me wrong information and also they did not keep promise contact time and date.

After that, there was no reply from them. I could not help contacting from my side. Then the case manager called me back that day. She said, " This case is only for repair and cannot be returned or refunded." In the end, she hanged up without my permission. And also CEO Representative contacted me then he stated repeatedly same things. The problem was not resolved.

I contacted The good guys that day. I asked them to have helped me with this tragic matter. They negotiated with Samsung. Finally they gave me settlement by store credit full refund.

If you have the same series Samsung TV, I recommend testing with black back wallpaper under the dim light condition for finding the same matter.

Blotchy Light Patches All Over Screen – I am onto my second Q60T, the first had dead pixel and strange lighting in right bottom corner. So I now get replacement unit but in dark scenes in dark lighting you see light blotches all over the screen. Samsung sent my pictures to a "head technician" and they say that the light blotches are within spec for this TV. I have owned many TVs over… Read more

the years and none of them have had this rubbish light blotches all over the screen...... so if Samsung thinks this is normal for their TVs now then they do not have much faith in the quality of their products. Here is a picture of my TV where hopefully you can see all the blotchy light patches on this screen that is meant to be totally black with the white apple TV logo.

https://imgur.com/gallery/4wVr4IK How can Samsung say that this is normal for a TV? it is not normal... maybe it is normal for a SAMSUNG TV..... and this is why you should not buy a Samsung.

The exchange process is exhausting as they don't help you pack up or setup the monster sized TV so doing it a few times now is wearing thin. In the future I will definitely not be buying a Samsung TV.

TV Broken Again – Bought the above TV in June 2020, 3 months later the mother board, power module & some other part were replaced after waiting nearly 2 weeks. Now 6 months from purchase it's broken again with no picture and intermittent sound that lasts for 10 seconds or so, and waiting for the technicians to arrive to fix it again. Samsung are supposed to be a… Read more

reliable, reputable and a top of the range brand when it comes to TV's. Not impressed at all and never ever will I buy anything Samsung again. The first time it broke, the retailer said, take it up with SAMSUNG, So SAMSUNG would not replace it but repaired it, when it broke the second time & after giving SAMSUNG my details I asked for it to be replaced & they said too late the details I gave them was for a repair and not a replacement, I asked again for a replacement & then SAMSUNG said to take it up with the attending technicians. Just how hard is it to get your consumer rights with this company?

Love Samsung but a little disappointed this time – I just upgraded my 2018 55” model to a 2020 65” version but I am so disappointed with the picture clarity despite spending hours fine tuning the settings. There is an anti reflective coating on the screen itself which I first thought was a plastic coating. I really loved the picture on my old tv which I sold to my sister. Now I’m jealous! Why Samsung? I’ve been so faithful to you. What have you done?  Show details

QLED simply amazing!! – This is my first Samsung purchase. Having owned Panasonic, Sony, LG & NEC TV's, this Samsung QLED model delivers a perfect crystal clear picture coupled with amazing sound when connected to the new Soundbar.

Buy an OLED! – The picture quality was so much worse than in harvey Norman. Blacks appear grey, look up reviews on YouTube before purchasing this TV. Harvey Norman gave me a full refund no questions in Kalgoorlie. BUY AN OLED.  Show details

Constant Problems - Do not buy – Purchased 9 September 2020. After one day started to restart and then would not start at all. Called service and followed the instruction to power off for a few minutes and then power up, this seemed to fix problem. From that date randomly would restart, which I lived with blaming it on poor software. Fast forward to Nov 25, watching Netflix,… Read more

suddenly stopped and restarted. started to stream again and same problem. Tried another streaming service and the same result. I then watched free to air and the same problem.

Following day, I could not power the TV up. I disconnected power waited a few minutes then powered up. This time It started on SD free to air, only one channel as the remote could not do anything. Tried powering off no change.

I have booked a service call, so we see what excuses are forthcoming.

My overall experience is that Samsung TV is a brand to bypass. Do not be fooled by the reviews on line. This is a very poor product.

Not great software – This is for 65 inch Q60T TV. The TV screen quality is ok. Specifically the colour is very good. Refresh rate is very bad. Grey uniformity is bad. Dirty screen effect is not great. Sound is ok. Apps are not good. There is no app store. Google Voice Assistant doesn't exist as advertised. The operating system is very poor and difficult to use… Read more ·  1

compared to Android TV. The web browser app is extremely horrible, google search results only show Youtube videos. There is no other choice of Internet browser. I am extremely disappointed with the software of the TV. I experienced lags a few times, especially with Youtube app. Bixby is very stupid. It doesn't understand or cannot search for things you said. Bixby settings cannot be changed. You have to press and hold mic key to talk to the TV. Terrible software. A $600 Kogan TV with Android TV can do 3 times better. Also you must create a Samsung account and download Samsung app to your phone to connect with the TV. I hate that. Disgusting. They try to pull me into Samsung products family. Design of the TV is good, slim bezels. Build quality is not bad but not great. TV is made in VN, not China, in case you wonder. I got this from TGG Maribyrnong as a swap for a faulty TCL TV. You should avoid TGG because they do not have any policy or procedure for faulty products.

Does not have a Foxtel App as advertised – Our family recently purchased two new 55 inch Samsung OLED TV's which advertise that they have access to the Foxtel Go App. With Rugby League and AFL almost back, we splurged due to the advertised Foxtel App connection. However the Foxtel Go App was not available on the TV's. After frustratingly being told by Samsung to update the firmware by USB… Read more

as the TV would not do an automatic update, we now find that the firmware update still did not solve the problem. So we have two new TV's, no Foxtel and the TV's are still being advertised that the Foxtel Go App is available. We are going to have to return them which is another exercise I am not looking forward to...

Great TV!! – So happy with our purchase. Lovely picture, large size. Love the conveniance of how all the apps are inbuilt. Only thing, tried to manually update the tv and would not update, but updated the next day so all good in the end. the internet like a smart phone. Have a samsung s9 so connecting with this tv was a breeze which was a major reason why I stuck with Samsung. Particularly enjoy playing Spotify music from the tv. Overall, highly recommend this product....
