Computer ok, Product support confusing and/or non existent – Whilst the computer itself is a great concept, it falls short of the manufacturers advertising blurb.... however were it is really poor, is the absolute disregard the Samsung company has to its obligations of warranty...i have never had so much grief from any company as far as warranty is concerned and has tainted me to the point that i will… Read more

never purchase a Samsung product ever again...

they do not reply, or deny or just ignore correspondence... absolutely the poorest public relations attitude ever...

this has made the product un-usable as hows its described...

Still in Good Condition just hate about updates that doesnt work – I can't remember now how old my laptop is but at this moment, it's still working fine. The only thing i hate about this is the updates which I usually dont know what has been improved. Last time I've run the updates was about a month ago. Touchpad, Chipset, etc drivers were updated. One of my complaint after the update was the touchpad… Read more

behaving so badly - 2 finger gesture control has been deleted, the pointer become shaky when you do a 2 finger gesture (drag and drop). I could not position my windows correctly and the touchpad triggers the shaking action and this minimizes all my desktop windows. I could even select texts as the cursor goes to an unpredictable spot. I've tried to revert back the old driver/software for the touchpad but I could find the previous version.

Meh – Now it's several years old, my Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook is dated and, well, meh. It struggles to connect to the internet, is always updating, and the processor speeds are laughable, and useless now for anything but light browsing. Watching 720p videos makes the back heat up to burning point. Though exceptional in it's first year, this thing is now sub-par, and is almost useless. Will look for a machine that will actually last next time.

It's pretty good – Battery life is great and speed is awesome. A bit tough getting used to Windows 8. Oh, and I lost the charging pack and I had to jump through hoops to get another one. I purchased at JBHiFi in Westfield Sydney, level 6, and I have to say that the service I received there was hopeless, particularly when it came to the credit check process.… Read more

Terrible. but the laptop has turned out pretty good. Sleek look, fast and reliable Battery pack really hard to replace

Samsung Series 9 NP900X4C-A06AU Laptop – Very happy with the laptop, it's as beautiful as described in various internet reviews. The screen is simply amazing, have not seen one better and have no regrets paying for it. Initially i was worried that the core i5, 4Gb ram and 128GB SSD would not be enough for my needs, but it's faster than i expected and it's got enough space for my favorite… Read more

apps. Boot up time from power of is less than 10 seconds for me, probably less, from sleep mode is 2/3 seconds, rivaling tablets.

I'm not used to Windows 8, but it's slowly growing on me. I was also concerned about the touch pad as some reviewers had issues with it, but it's a very good touch pad, it also has 3 USB ports so i can use my wireless mouse if i want. On other laptops i could not get by without the mouse, but on the Series 9, the touch pad is good enough. Boot up times from power off and sleep mode, screen, keyboard, touch pad, overall speed. Unable to upgrade the RAM or SSD

Samsung Series 9 2012 – I realise that this was one of the 1st so called ultrabooks )Late 2011)but the issues I have had may be of interest to anyone considering purchasing one of these. They are issues that mere mortals can not hope to find out about before they hand over their money. I can not establish the issues have been resolved. Great screen, terrific keyboard,… Read more

Good battery life and built well. Has survived being carried all over australia for offiice and air plane work 3 main concerns. The HDMI is weak beyond a joke and will not transmit more than 1.5M. Useless if you want to project to a TV from any sensible distance. The wireless is very weak and possibly the worst I have ever seen. Very annoying for ultrabook. You have to pay extra for all the connectors and now the dockiing ports are loose and in need of replacement. Also the sound is thin and tinny.
