maker faulty and to top that the control panel has now also died. So $3,000 on a fridge that lasted 5 years. I will never buy Samsung again and I hope you don’t waste your money either. They look nice but are very poor quality. Samsung customer service are hopeless, told me out of warranty so all they are prepared to do is give me name of an authorized repairer. Thanks for nothing! Update: Two days after writing this, the entire fridge stopped working, the fridge has an electrical safety issue , if we turn the fridge on our house power all gets tripped!! all this at Xmas time, literally hundreds of dollars now also wasted on food and a house full of guests with no fridge. This is the response from Samsung below. They seem to think a fridge is cheap at $3k and shouldn’t last more than 5 years!

Like I said DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!! They just scored 2nd highest for complaints and lack of assistance on Australian consumer complaints Website which should be enough to stop buying their rubbish products.

years as I had read reviews stating Samsung wouldn't do anything about it as it was out of warranty. I was looking at getting a new fridge as it was looking disgusting but it was only 4 years old! I decided to just give Samsung a try to see if they would fix it. I did the "online chat" which again I thought would result in nothing. To my amazement they had set up a service guy to come and review the next week to replace the door! He not only replaced the door but also fixed a broken part off my icemaker which had only just happened and replaced the electronic face plate because he thought it looked a bit faded!! I was amazed! It looks like I have a new fridge and it didn't cost me a cent!!! THANK YOU SAMSUNG! I was pleasantly surprised and happy to recommend after service like this.

short beeps, while I can't hear any noise, it's very quiet. I don't know why. Lastly, very good to get cold water and ice, all my family members like it.

Descent product – We got this fridge when we bought the house as in came with the house and it broje down just after two months. Eww called custoner care thy were not ready to do it for free saying its not in the clause of sale but finally ended up replacing a component satisfied.  Show details

Fridge Freezer better model than the last – The combination doors and drawers are perfect for our needs. I haven't had any issue or problem after 12 months of use. The cold water isn't that cold, Otherwise a great buy. Sometimes the freezer door doesn't close properly when kids use them, and subsequently defrosts. lack of ice – Best style and design I have ever seen in a fridge and we absolutely love this style but... since purchase Jan 2017 we have had the Samsung service team out 5 times to try and rectify the ice machine with no luck. Been a solid fridge for 4 years and hope to get a lot more – Easy to maintain - removable ice machine works well... lights eventually fade from blue to clear in the led shade so that would be a good way to monitor the age and use it has seen. Could be a good unit to be bought second hand if you know the history. I have moved home 5 times with no problems.  Show details

Ice maker is terrible! – Fridge/freezer is great and I prefer the side by side to french style. However the ice machine is terrible. Leaks water and ice is always crushed (even when set on cubed). Have had it repaired once within the first month of owning it and it doesn't work again!! Samsung service are TERRIBLE to deal with!! Great fridge – Really happy with this fridge..much improved filter system and dual door is great.. A good fridge for the price – It is an easy to clean fridge that maintains its temperature very well. It's a bit annoying to clean but so are most fridges. Space wise it isn't the greatest fridge but it manages alright for a family of 5, with a bit of good timing and space management. Fantastic design with the showcase – Wonderful design with the showcase. Plenty of room in the fridge. Temperature setting is easy to use. We back it off for winter otherwise it's on 2. Best of a bad bunch of Samsung side by side fridge freezer – Ok I like the space. Won't I don't like it makes woooooing sound off and on everyday , the ice maker silicon pusher to dispense ice get i is awful difficult to push sometimes much prefer a leaver. in you have to cut them in half even then it is a struggle to get what a stupid design.

Ice has been caught in the shoot and it leaks .

Samsung shocking that deal with have complained still waiting . Not energy effecting even though it is a digital motor

Do Not Buy – Fridge door rusted, it took 12 months for them to finally replace the door. Now I have 2 completely different doors on the fridge. It is horrible, I don't want it I'm my house. It will go in the garage. They have refused to look at it or fix it. I have sent in pics about 6 times, Samsung head technician said "it works to specifications so we won't be doing anything."
