Saxon 48L Portable Garden Carts

Terrible – Top heavy and keeps falling over on the handle side. Had a similar one from Bunnings in NZ that had a plastic "foot" to stop it from happening - looked like this one but with yellow bits on the caps I think - was SOOOOO much better. This one is really useless as you always need to prop it up to stay until you have put stuff in it Show details
Good idea, let down by poor design – For $29 it looks a good buy. I would have thought that a cart on wheels would have wheels that will turn when fitted to the cart instead of binding on the wheel wells. It does not stand up by itself when unloaded because it is unbalanced due to undersized wheels. Apart from these two faults it is still worth $29. I made two new wheels out of wood… Read more
slightly smaller so they do not bind and added a counterweight to the front of the cart, and it has now become a cart that does what it should have been made to do in the first place. Larger wheels would have solved the unbalanced issue but the design does now allow this. Not everybody would have the ability to manufacture new wheels and add a counterweight. The cart has the following printed on the label, 'Under Australian and New Zealand laws, we guarantee this product is acceptable quality and fit for purpose'. I could have taken it back for a refund but I have become used to modifying cheap items to perform better, and I wanted a small cart so I can't complain about the price of $29, which probably reflects on previous complaints and returns of the cart.
One handed cart – For a person that her knee has one active hand I find this bucket extremely useful however the quality of the bucket has declined rapidly I had one that lasted me three years and this one last with me three months what are you making the plastic out of now because it sure not lasting Show details
Very handy little cart – Very easy to put together. Two black spanner to put wheels together, hold one side and tighten the other side. Hopefully this explains the two black plastic parts. Good buy
Excellent product – Brilliant little cart for putting in bags of potting mix/cow manure etc..or a bale of sugar cane mulch. Saves your back dragging bags around by hand and not as cumbersome as using a wheel barrow. Highly recommend and only $30 from Bunnings...
Useless – Won't stand up. Falls over all the time. Doesn't hold very much which is probably lucky because I wouldn't be able to lift it up to empty it into the bin. It's only used by the grandchildren now to drag up and down the driveway! I bought a 4 wheel cart with a handle which works a lot better.
Beware of Cheap Portable Garden Carts – Cheap & fairly useless as a carry cart...Not balanced correctly... the stupid thing falls over all the time. Hard to empty, doesn't hold much.IMO better off buying a cart with four wheels, pneumatic tyres, a long handle & catch release tip tray. Might be dearer but you won't throw it out like I did with the other cart!!
