Scandia Fireplace Glass & Surface Cleaner

Water just as effective – This product promises to remove soot from your fireplace glass ... which it does ...but so does a wet rag! I mistakenly bought this product from Bunnings, thinking it would remove the brown creosote stains that develop over time. If you look at the attached picture, you will see the brown stains AFTER using Scandia. Then I used my normal cleaning product, Stove Bright Glass Cleaner (available at some hardware stores and stores that sell fireplaces), and you can see the clear areas from which the creosote has been removed. The price of the two products is comparable, so don’t waste your money on the Scandia.
