Zero foam, just pure liquid that went everywhere but my hair! – This was a mess! No foam! Super peed off! Have an event tomorrow too.Guess I’m attending with grey hair because you can’t rely on this product! Show details
New favourite product – First time using it, no burning scalp, no strong Scent. And left it in longer than suppose too. And no stains on skin. Wooow!!! Great job schwarzkopf Show details
Absolutely stoked – I can't believe I haven't seen this dye before; maybe because I always stuck with Brilliance for years, I didn't bother to see anything else. But the application of this moose, the wash out, the price, and the lack of stink - I am sold. Colour did not come out exactly as the packet, but it was good enough. My hair was a little multi coloured… Read more
before applying this, I had bleached it a few times as a total amateur to be able to use the Truffle colour in the brilliance range so the bleach was coming through some areas more. I had damaged it a bit. So areas were brown, orange, greyish and just awful. My greys were also taking over the front. I hoped it would come out a little more mahogany, but I'm just glad it's better than what is was before.

No amonia was great for my hair – I have dyed my hair since my early 30s -now in early 60s. Until 2014 It was done by a hair dresser. My first few attempts with other supermarket brands were disaster, bleaching out all the colour etc. My niece (in her 30s and with the same early grey issues as me) reccomended Schwarzkopf perfect Mousse as it doesn’t have Amonia. So... I’ve… Read more
been using the Hazelnut for 5 years since 2014 with great success. It is easy to apply and has covered my white hair well. occasionally I’d have a darker light brown to take the red out of it. Because I swim regularly in chlorine, it would fade out over time. I’m about to go lighter -med blonde with a few grey strands... on my way towards natural - white. I hope that the lighter colours are as successful in its coverage.
The first time I dyed my hair if had been bleached to white and since then the dyed colour.
Great for Ginger / Orange hair! – Dark Red Brown 3-88, is a great colour, for I think maybe dark blondes, light browns and redheads. I wanted to take the ginger / orange out of my natural hair and cover up greys, this worked perfectly for it came out a deep red. I don't think this colour, would do much for dark brown or black hair except colour / cover and highlight the greys. (as you can't lighten dark hair too much, without stripping the dark colour first) Show details
Good colour, covered greys 100 % – I bought this and used it today. I wanted to try it since it was a foam. I do my hair myself so I thought this would be easier. It was definitely easier without goop dripping everywhere. Less mess, and since it's a foam easier to get it on all your hair. Previously I used naturtint (Very good but not available in Australia, also not a… Read more
foam), just for men (horrible, made hair feel like plastic and you could tell it's a dye), l'oreal (decent but I prefer foam now I tried it), and a shampoo that just failed to cover greys so was useless.
Since I have grey hair I went for a natural colour. I am a guy anyway, I used to have medium brown hair, but oddly my other body hair is nearly black so I just roll with that. Straight black looks a bit fake imho. Dark brown looks almost black, but it's a more natural look.
Looking at other reviews they talked about a different bottle to what I got. Perhaps theirs was an older version. This one I got had an ordinary push dispenser for the foam. Was quite easy to use.
Color turned out nearly black but I was expecting that since I tend to leave it on a bit longer. If it's like others I have tried it will fade to brown on a week or so. I might try the black next time to prevent this effect.
5 stars since it's now my goto hair dye. Since I dye it dark I have to reduce every month since I am ocd about greys showing.
I prefer to forget I am getting old lol.

Not a mousse texture at all – First time using this hair colour. I have a lot of resistant grey hair around the sides and top of my hair. I was hoping that it was a mousse like texture but it wasn’t. It was runny & I found the pump bottle, really hard to use. Some of the side greys were not coloured at all but the top of my hair looks ok. Honestly, it’s ok. My hair is soft… Read more
and shiny, the colour is nice & the product didn’t burn my scalp or have any unpleasant odour.
I probably wouldn’t use it again simply because of the pump bottle application.
Not brown do not buy – I had brown hair needed a lift purchased this now my hair is burgundy absolutely disgusted in this product had to go to hairdresser to have it fixed spent money I didn't have :( Show details
Seriously. It says brown... It's not! – Had beautiful natural brown hair, with a few greys... now my greys are red, and there is a burgundy shimmer all over. So disappointed. The box colour looked brown, the name says brown. What a disgrace. Very unhappy Schwarzkopf.

Came out black – It was easy to use but I turned into a black witch - not what I wanted. Just wanted mid brown as per my hair colour. Not easy to call them for advice :(
Not "Perfect" Mousse for me! – This product did not give the results other Schwarzkopf brands do for me. I followed the directions to the letter and found it very easy to apply, however, when my hair was dry, the colour had not changed, it was still "GREY" very disappointing. I will be seeking a refund!
Been using it for years but not anymore – The colour only last around 2 weeks before it use to stay on for almost 4 weeks. They must have made some changes & it is not working anymore. Will try some other colour
Used this for years – I have used this for years and it works very well for me. I do however find it hard to purchase as Coles and Woolies no longer stock it. A great product.

Horrible! – I joined the hype by trying out mousse hair dye. I have dark brown hair so I left it on for about an hour. It didn't not come out evenly and vibrant as the box. The color seemed to fade very quickly every time I washed. Coloured stay for about 3 weeks before giving off a weird tone.
Good Product – I had chocolate brown hair and was very skeptical (and scared!) to do a home bleaching on my hair. It did exactly what it promised, 2 shades lighter. I don't know why this product is getting average/bad reviews as it does what it says. It's too risky lifting your hair from brown to a clean-looking blonde from home, this pearl blonde lightener… Read more
mousse is perfectly safe on my hair as it hasnt stripped it after one sitting..my hair looks slightly different, just what I wanted, and I'll continue to use this bleach to get the colour I want eventually, safely and steadily maintaining some sort of healthiness to my hair. Love the product! Easy to apply and purchased from my local supermarket in Fremantle. Not much to complain about here at all!

easy to apply – Although it says not to shake bottle was shaken by accident - was then very easy to apply covered head well - colour is darker then shown on box - if you want exact colour go to a hairdresser and get it done professionally
Black as the ace of spades!!! – I put the colour in and then read the reviews! Washed it out immediately and my hair is so BLACK and fake looking. Also found the "dribbles" very hard to remove even wiping them straight away. Strong ammonia smell was awful.
Unbelievable – I Used 4-19 cassis velvet brown just to enrich my brown hair, my hair is now a plum/maroon colour. Just disgraceful, are these products not tested? How is this justified?
Medium B rown really should be described as very dark brown – I bought the medium brown Perfect Mousse and followed all the instructions. Now my hair is very dark brown and at 64 it looks very hard and aging. Not happy and won't use it again.
This WAS my favourite - but steer clear – I have used this on and off for a few years, always the same colourway. I purchased some at the weekend, I used it this morning and what a joke. I tipped the colouring into the foam applicator bottle - unshaken as per the instructions, when I pumped the applicator what a watery mess - no foam in particular! So I persevered with it covered my… Read more
hair, which is short. Left for the desired 30min time, rinsed and then on to the conditioner - well, what an oily mess this is now, I used a smallish amount and I could not get rid of the damn stuff out of my hair! Then came the styling - well - the coverage of this ha 'new' improved formula, is a bag of **** What a waste of money.
Schwarzkopt your team should be sacked - this product used to be one of the best! Well I think it is one of the worst - Safe to say I shall not be purchasing your products again.
It is rare for me to give an opinion on this kind of product, but just had to - don't waste your money!
Cassis Velvet brown Crap – Bought 4-19 to use on my greys. Usually go dark brown, but thought to lighten it up a little. I am now the proud (not) owner of bright purple/red hair.
It works for me – I have been using this product for over 6 months fortnightly as I am OCD about a grey gt stripe down the middle of Nannas head, I initially bought one box when a clearance store had them cheap, was so happy went back and bought a dozen more,I used the last one a week ago.I have since found them again on clearance and have ordered 15 so I get free… Read more
shipping...a slightly different colour but the closest that they now make,I would advise not purchasing this product if it has Indian, hindustani writing predominantly on the box...I have been told by a reliable source this is a different product to what we purchase at places like Priceline...my hair has never been shinier...so ladies if you are purchasing it cheap check the box but no I love this product, mine all came with the right size gloves and conditioner.

Very happy customer! – This is the best product ever. $5 from my local chemist, do it myself at home, no mess, no fuss. Extremely happy with the results. I've never had so many compliments from people, friends, strangers and even hair dressers as to how healthy and shiny my hair is. I will be recommending this to everyone and anyone who will listen!
Want damaged hair? Use this product! – Seriously the worst hair colouring product I have ever used!!! I coloured my hair about 3 weeks ago and straight afterwards my hair felt hard and rough while trying to rinse the product out. I used the conditioner that comes with it and it barely helped. I dried it and it was back to straw. My hair was in EXCELLENT condition prior to that but now it is so damaged I will have to cut it short. Disgusting product!
One of the worst colour results I've had in 30 years – I used Chocolate brown last night, about the same colour as my own hair but it has come out black. I've washed it today and will keep washing it until it fades. I wanted to cover a few grey hairs but the black colour is very harsh. The mousse didn't mix well and probably needs shaking to make that happen. Very disappointing.
Disgusting – I colour my hair at home, all the time,my hair was light brown, so I brought the same colour, my hair is now black...... never again will I ever use any of the swchartskopt range sgain....
colours don't add up!! – Purchased Perfect Mousse 4-19 Cassis Velvet Brown - or so I thought. Hair came out maroon/burgundy/purple colour. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!! Am 64 years old and wanted to cover up my grey hairs for a change - now grey hair doesn't look so bad.
Foam? What foam? – The foam was thin and runny. After washing my hair felt so rough. It didn't come with conditioner like most dye products on the market. If your hair is long you would need two boxes because one doesn't have much in a box. Like other reviewers said, the smell is not nice and the gloves are way too big. I wouldn't buy it again. Lucky it was on special when I bought it.
Almost Black Hair When The Box Said LIGHT BROWN – I used Schwarzkopf Perfect Mousse hair colour for the first time yesterday and I am very disappointed with it. My hair colour was medium brown before I used it but I am now almost black. I bought the light brown (6-0) to lighten my hair a little, not make it darker. Something seriously wrong with this product. I have been colouring my hair at home… Read more
for years and have never experienced this problem before. Perfect Mousse was easy to use, but that is the only good thing I can say about it. I will never use it again. I will go back to the makes I have successfully used before.
Black Hair when it said chestnut – Terrible to have your Hair like a wig when it goes from light chesnut to total Black even though box says chesnut i Will go back to loreal this is a disgrace
Never again – I have used this product before and forgot how bad it is. Little bit of foam with no colour. Then no foam and it was hard to push the pump. I took off the lid and poured the liquid onto my hand and head. Guess what, I still can see regrowth after over 30 mins on my head. Other products do the job in less time. It was so messy. Never ever again. I have learnt my lesson.
Disgraceful – After seeing this product on special thought I would give it a go. Have coloured my hair at home before and haven't had too many issues. However somehow the lightest brown that was supposed to be in the box has somehow died my hair to almost black. Something seriously wrong about this.
its okay – used this product for the first time a couple days ago. it was much much darker than the expected colour however it is much easier to apply than a lot of other hair dyes. not recommended for the price ($14 at Priceline) there are many other box dyes for less that do a much better job.
Darker than expected – Moving on from a bad experience with Clairol's Nicy 'n Easy, I was relieved at the pleasant smell and easy of mixing and applying of the Perfect Mousse. There was plenty in the bottle, it's was not at all messy, so I loaded it all on. After washing it out, my hair was incredibly dry, but the conditioning helped a lot. Unfortunately the… Read more
mid-brown colour indicated on the packet's chart was far short of the mark. My hair is a darkish brown and with this it came out just short of black with an almost deep magenta highlight. Not really flattering in colour (though my daughter thought it pretty cool), but I was happy that my hair was soft and shiny and the odd greys were completely covered. After three washes the colour has softened and is much nicer and more what I was expecting on application. Next time I will go for a shade down - to light brown, and won't leave the colour on for the full recommended time.
let down – What a bloody joke spent my day off work trying this product and not 1 grey hair changed colour. Have to go buy a spray just so I can go out. Show details
