Completely ruined my hair! Applied and followed instructions to a tea and was left with neon yellow roots and the colour i was attempting to remove did not budge! Show details

I have short hair. Chin length. I has 1 bottle of the stripper but decided i was going to do it 2 times, one after the other so got a second. Good thing i did, because i needed to use them both. It is currently in my hair. Im regretting this decision already. Ill post a review on finished product after. Show details

This product lifts my brown hair roots to a level that I can use a ash blonde right after and it's all done.I refuse to get other box brands to lighten my hair now because I don't get breakage at all with this. You can use it on damp hair to get it through evenly. Im so happy with this product and have used it for over a year now without… Read more

having to go back to brown to recover from breakage because there is no breakage for me using this.I prefer to use two boxes for my hair that comes to just below my shoulders.I don't get banding anymore either.

Very effective – Exceeded my expectations. Great product. We put brown hair dye over my sons red hair, and it went pitch black. This product removed all the colour and virtually got his hair back to his original colour in one application. Show details

WORKS PERFECTLY VERY PLEASE – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ IF YOU FOLLOW the INSTRUCTIONS, it works PERFECTLY..❣️ i was so frightened to use anything using the word "Hair Stripper".. I used a blue based hair toner days earlier. That was meant to look like a grey tone.. It didn't come out like that. SO I NEEDED TO GET RIDE OF that blue tone. I saw this product in a local store. READ INSTRUCTIONS:… Read more

OVER AND OVER, watched YouTube clips and Googled looked at reviews. On top of that I cut a section of my hair and did a strand test first. - Product not to expensive $24 - Comes with A Shampoo BEFORE you start treatment. (Use this) - Hair needs to be damp - DEFINITELY use gloves because it burns your fingers. (But for some reason doesn't burn scalp) - THIS PRODUCT WORKS REALLY FAST (section your hair off first after washing) - I am blonde: used product to take out blue to return to blonde. ~WORKS PERFECTLY VERY PLEASED~

Hair Colour (St)rip-off – The obviously photoshopped hair colour of the model on the box should have been a dead give-away as to how amazing this product is. The package comes with pre- and post-treatment products which are fine, I suppose, but never in the history of bleaching and colouring my hair have I needed such product before. Still, they must be useful for… Read more

something.

The main stripping agent is a whopping 60ml bottle of 20 volume bleach and an activating powder sachet.

By carefully following the very detailed and helpful instructions, I was able to make my hair 1-2 shades exactly the same as it already was, with only 2 treatments. Astounding!

Just buy bleach and use it responsibly. This is the second worst thing I ever spent $22 on, closely on the heels of buying tickets to see Scary Movie when it came out.

So bad don't buy – I used this product on a good friend that has semi dyed multi tonal purple hair. He has a wolf cut which is significantly shorter than the long haired pictures on the box, it barely covered a quarter of his hair and after 30 minutes stripped barely if any color. When mixing in the bottle it started to expand and feel extremely hot and when it was… Read more

opened it actually exploded and covered the sink, blinds, mirror and ceiling (maybe this contributed to it not covering all the hair) i ended up having to put the mixture in a hair bowl and applying it like bleach with my dye brush. Very disappointing

Worked better than expected – My long, dry mousey and grey hair absorbs any iota of a warm tone like a sponge and was looking a dark ginger mess. The day before use, after cutting off the tangled mess at the bottom I thoroughly washed my hair with an anti dandruff shampoo and no conditioner, the next morning I picked up the blue box of SC stripper - I chose this one due to the… Read more

myriad of different colours I had in my hair (perm and 'semi'). Be careful not to use all the clarifying shampoo as you need it the wash the stripper out too. I left the solution on for an hour and used cling wrap. The effect was immediate after 1 packet/treatment - my hair has lightened 2-3 shades and it looks tone-able, yellow and pale orange just like the packet picture (which NEVER happens). It wasn't in the best condition and the balm certainly helps to restore it.

Definitely did the job – I had very vivid fuschia pink hair, which is apparently one of the hardest colours to get rid of. So I was slightly sceptical that this would work. I bought two boxes, because I have very thick hair and didn't want to run out. First of all, don't follow the instructions when it says to shake it in the bottle. It is way too thick. You're far better… Read more

off mixing it in a bowl. Much less wastage. Other than that, this product did everything it says it will! By the time I was halfway through applying it, I could already see the hair going from vivid dark pink to a pale pinky-orange. It definitely got the vast majority of the colour out. I did the second box the next day, and although the result wasn't as dramatic as the first lot, it has definitely left my hair with a good base to start a new colour with. My hair is a bit drier than normal, but nothing a good conditioner won't fix. I would definitely use this again. Far cheaper than getting it done in a salon.

Useless Not worth it – I bought this to remove a dark blonde dye and help lighten my hair so I could do a lighter blonde. The product is so thick it doesn't come out of the bottle followed instructions. It left my hair a horrid mix of urine yellow and orange. I thought this one would do the job but obviously it didn't and due to the product being so thick barely… Read more

covered my short hair my hair is in a short bob above chin and not thick so disappointed in this wasted my money tbh.

Scared to use again – Being a Scripture teacher with now white hair, I colour it as teaching the Liturgical Seasons of the church. So trying to take out the last of Lent's purple to go white for Easter, I used this. It was so thick it would hardly come out of the bottle and the green residue stayed giving me dirty brownish green colour that would not budge. Emailed for help and NO service, no reply. Show details

Works I've been dying black for 10 years – I brought 4 packets. I used 2 packets first, put shower cap on to heat and open cuticles. Washed out, then repeated 2 packets again. Got most of my black out which is what I wanted. I then dyed with garbier nude natural brown. Photo is before I dyed. So after 2nd use of colour remover. The parts that struggled getting out is where I have dyed… Read more

multiple times. I do root's only and was having to do ever 2 weeks to cover grey. Hence why I wanted to go lighter.

Excellent product, but check your expectations – I had naturally thick, dark brown virgin hair. When I first applied Decolour Stripper I had hair down to halfway down my back. I was able to comb the product through my hair. The top developed faster near my scalp than in the ends, exacerbated by the fact that I combed it. Despite the fact that It left me with ginger hair, I was happy with the… Read more

initial results, understanding that this would be a process. I did a subsequent application leaving me with bright yellow blonde (uncoloured keratin) near my scalp and ginger at the ends. I got it trimmed up to my shoulders and will apply again to get it all to the same natural keratin blonde, after which I will apply a semi-permanent to tone it. My hair is not damaged, and the process has saved me a lot of money.

WORST product ever! – If i could leave a 0 star review i most definitely would! I've used many hair products but this one is by far the worst I've ever tried. After watching videos and reading about this product i thought it was the perfect one to remove the previous dye i used months ago and lighten my regrowth. WRONG!! This product didnt lighten my regrowth at all… Read more

and left the dyed part of my hair orange. The consistency is very thick, hard to squeeze out of the bottle and unlike the videos, CANNOT be combed after applying to sections of hair. It is a waste of money and time. Will never purchase again and my recommendation would be to steer clear of this product and use Colourless Hair Remover which is a great product followed by a light blonde dye which lifts 4-5 levels if you dont want to reach for hair bleach.

Do not buy this hair stripper sold through Priceline – I purchased the 'Blue' pack of this Scott Cornwall Decolour Hair Colour Stripper. It is an Italian product, sold through Priceline outlets & located in their hair section. I had a medium brown permanent colour in my hair. Several hair dressers had put the re-growth product over some parts of my already coloured hair & made it go too dark. This is… Read more

why I purchased this product. It states on the box that "it removes all types of colour, safely go lighter, recolour immediately'. It goes further to state: 'non ammonia, conditioning formula is kind to the hair whilst enabling unwanted natural & artificial colours to be gently stripped away'. My hair turned bright yellow like a canary! It also almost fell out & felt like straw! I had to go to a hairdresser & get them to TRY & put a natural non permanent toner over the top, so I could go out the front door! It cost me $80 to get this toner put in! I am now emailing the company. My hair was like 'straw'! I was so distressed!
