the blue light would come on but my computer would not recognise it. I am very disappointed because I have lost a lot of precious data. I would be more forgiving if it was a portable drive that was bumped around but this hard drive sat in the same position from the day I set it up. Not good enough. I don’t think I can ever trust seagate again.
