had the chair just under 3 years. One of the arm buttons kept falling out, early in its lifetime. I thought i'd get it fixed before the warranty expired. At the time my armrest was worn and tattered, i didn't think i could get that on warranty as it was just natrual wear and tear. Support have decided that given my chair is out of warranty, my new purchase cannot be supported and offered me a compensation of $70 from a completely new chair, or I can pay for the replacement part I need on top of the current payment I made for the wrong part.
I explained to support that this new purchase has absolutely nothing to do with my expired warranty and I’ll be taking my complaint to consumer affairs to continue this complaint and fight for a refund of this purchase.
Absolutely ridiculous inconsiderate cold corporate level of attitude. I’ve taken off another star as a result of this experience

to great reviews, marketing, commitment to the product, videos and more, SecretLab stuff was a standout, especially if you're ready to wait for a deal. I managed to get $250 off their chair at the right EOFY sale. Still an expensive chair though even after that. SecretLab is a dedicated creator of these things which meant a lot for me. Watch their RnD video to see what I mean.
This chair had the best packaging i've ever seen. Very robust box (you could park a car on it), incredibly supportive foam packaging (not polystyrene), self-contained boxes for more delicate parts, hard cardboard tubing on other pieces and the most comprehensive, in-colour, glossy, A3 sized instruction sheet. I've missed those things from the early days, was great to see it all again.
Was very easy to assemble, possibly a little heavy for some given just how strong, sturdy and well constructed this chair is. The fabric of the chair is tight and the ability to choose all kinds of patterns and colours for your chair to make it a custom one is a great feature if you're into some of the characters they have on offer. The chair wheels are also high quality and you can get even better ones if you need to.
The only problem (and it was a doozy)... is the smell of this chair was similar to that of a vacuum sealed mattress (think Sleeping Duck vacuum sealed mattress if you've ever gotten one). The chair's fabric is called NEO Hybrid Leatherette. Very harsh, chemical smell that literally stank the room out and made it unpalatable to be around! I had to put the chair outside for a week in my case to help it come back to a more reasonable level. I'm ready to accept I might have more sensitivity to this than others (I was more affected than other family members for example) but I couldn't stand it as-is. If you check reviews (which I did after the fact, not anticipating this at all), you'll find others have had the same problem with theirs and recommended Febreeze to kill the smell with great success. Some others suggested I get in touch with the company to get assistance.
I got in touch with SecretLab and they responded quickly and effectively. I didn't want to apply some 3rd party, non-recommended chemical to this expensive chair as my first option so I chose this route instead. They acknowledged that some people can have a problem with this and sent me a Leather Cleaning Kit to apply to the chair. I've done that multiple times now and to others the smell has completely abated, unless you stick your nose on the chair physically. With me, it's tolerable, it's getting better all the time (3 weeks in now) and i'm enjoying the chair for the long days at the desk.
So in summary, awesome chair, incredible packaging and fantastic responsive service dedicated to helping me out. I did not want to send this back! 4 stars only because of the fragrance problem I had with it, otherwise it'd be a 5.
love it - got a minecraft XL, magnetic cooling armrests and the foot rest - happy as – Comfy as, not sure how i sat in that other "ergonomic" (ball crushing) chair for 2 years now. ha thanks guys, im glad this product lived up to the hype. ps all the colours and different chair themes are great, ill probs be back for another. xo Show details
Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 – I've been using this chair for a week or two now and it's already a massive improvement on my previous chair (that cost around $250). Secretlab chairs aren't cheap but you get a quality chair. Great support and looks excellent, no squeaking or wheels getting stuck when I want to move around. It's built like a tank. The chair was easy to put together and I was very impressed with how well it was packed. The instructions were very clear and came with everything needed to put it together.
I spend a lot time sitting due to work and gaming and since using my new Secretlab chair my legs, back and butt feel so much better, especially my back. It feels like I'm sitting in a cloud with the seat cushioning being firm yet very comfortable. The chair supports me extremely well and the lumbar support is excellent with the lumbar cushion providing additional support.
I know my back, legs and butt approve of my investment in a Secretlab chair.

left armrest. While the chair was technically out of warranty, by just two weeks, I felt the damage had clearly built up over time. I reached out to Secretlab and was initially asked to send photos, which felt a bit frustrating, especially since they seemed to have already ruled it outside warranty coverage.
They then quoted me $97 to replace both armrests, even though only the left one needed replacing. I voiced my disappointment, mainly because I had taken the time to provide photos, and the chair’s overall condition showed clear long-term quality.
To my surprise (and relief), Secretlab ultimately decided to honour the warranty and sent me both armrests free of charge. I was thrilled. This kind of customer service shows integrity and care - something rare these days.
After five years, my chair still looks and feels like new. No sagging, no piling (I have the fabric version), and everything functions as smoothly as the day I bought it.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Secretlab again, and I wouldn’t even consider looking elsewhere for an office or gaming chair now. Highly recommend.
Disappointed by returns process – Was sent the wrong accessory for my chair, apparently its not possible to refund or replace this at all even if unused. Incredibly disappointed for being a loyal customer for years. My next chair will not be from this company. As for the new patented lumbar support system, this is totally ineffective due the rock hard material used on the back cushion covering the mechanism, its so rigid it negates any potential support offered from the lumbar system, a huge waste and disappointment. So for AUD$1000 these chairs are NOT good value. Now for the totally disgraceful and wasteful packaging, while it is some of the best I have seen almost the equal of Apple packaging it is a mountain of foam that cannot be recycled or disposed of its a massive problem, and the amount if virgin cardboard and heavy weight Gloss printed paper used in this really is bordering on shameful. Using more sensible packaging would reduce the cost of these Chairs considerably, remember this only ends up in landfill or rubbish bin. Secretlab also DO NOT have a presence in Australia or perhaps anywhere other than SG perhaps for that matter, as they would like you to believe. All dealings with them for support etc are via the offices located in Singapore, in Australia there is only a third party warehouse delivery facility here. And I have to say Secretlab appears to have very little regard for our local consumer laws, when dealing with them directly. No phones numbers to call, only way to deal with them is via chat service, you cannot even check your order online via the website, there is no consumer interactions on the site other than placing an order and taking your funds. I will give them, credit they are friendly, but they make you jump through hoops needlessly over and over again to get anything in way of a making a claim and refunds.. chair that destroyed themselves in under 10 months and fell apart. The company will not replace the rollerblade casters or refund the money claiming they are only for up to 130kg when they had less than that on them the whole time. They now claim they are not for my chair (XL version) although they were happy to sell them with the chair. I will never purchase their product again as I have had cheaper computer chairs that have lasted for years where this failed in under a year.

Buyer Beware - Quality is an Issue for the Price – Buyer beware the Titan Series office chair sells itself on being a quality product. Unfortunatley within a few months the product did not hold up well, the material discolours easily and the arm rests have already cracked. Unfortunatley these are expensive chairs and it is a bit rich charging customers to add additional costs to the purchase when the quality is not great from the start.
Also the basic caster wheels damage hardwood floors. You can yet again spend more money for additional wheels.

Chair good, service okay, warranty process very bad – I have had the chair for approximately 4 months and then the multitilt mechanics seized and was stuck in a tilted back position permanently. I emailed support and explained the issue and was immediately sent back a video on how to use the tilt mechanism of the chair. I'd tried to do to fix it from unlocking it, locking it, rocking back and forth, and provided a picture of the position the chair was stuck in. It was then requested that I supply a video. After this it was suggested that I try using the lever to unlock the mechanism. Which, you could clearly see me lock and unlock it in the video and the chair not move. This was very frustrating.
It got better after this where support quickly agreed to sent me a replacement multi-tilt mechanism free of charge (nice) and then sent me a video of how to remove the base from the tilt part and asked me if I had a pipe wrench (no, I live in a high rise apartment and am not the 'handyman' type), after discovering that I didn't have this they also sent me the replacement wheel base, hydraulics and covers etc. needed to replace the chair from the tilt down.
Unfortunately, at this stage the replacement parts were not in stock, and there was no estimate as to when they would be available. After a week or two waiting I received an update that they would be available in September. This whole process started on 31/07 and I received the final replacement part needed on 02/10. This whole process took just over 3 months.
I wanted to provide this feedback directly to Secretlab on my resolved ticket but when i went to do this today (which is the day I finally received everything) since the ticket was closed 5 days ago I am now unable to submit any feedback, so decided to post here instead
I wouldn't buy a Secretlab chair again, next time I will be going with a brand much more reputable. I initially wanted to send the chair back and just get a refund but this was refused, which is against Australian Consumer Law for refunds/returns and their support team played dumb. Instead of fight with the support rep I didn't push it and just continued to follow their process - such a regret I would not do that again and would push for a full refund if there's any further issues with the chair.

EWE Were the courier chosen to ship the chair
Then Wednesday happened, had to WFH all day to make sure I didn't miss the delivery as I got a Text Message saying the chair was '2 stops away! only 45 minutes away'. but this was a lie, since every time you refreshed that tracking link, the expected time was always being pushed back by 45 minutes. never got the delivery on Wednesday, very annoyed.
Thursday! I got a new tracking link, saw the same `45 minutes away` lie over and over, but a follow up text message finally popped up saying the chair was nearly here, horray! I see a massive white truck rock up outside my place, the tracking says the truck is here, so I wait for them to unload the chair for me to pick up... they never got out of the truck, they sat there, then just drove off. Then shortly after I got a 'missed delivery' status on the tracking link. I was WFH that day too so I could see them from the front window. they never even got out of the truck or anything.
The EWE tracking links sent to me are all dead now, and the Tracking on the Secret Lab website still say that the chair is on its way to Melbourne, so that is obviously broken aswell.
I got in contact Secret Labs live chat, but it seems like that if I want to avoid playing the 'responds once every few days, takes 3-4 weeks to resolve' email game, I need to make a social media post.
So yeah, judging from the reviews, the chair seems like it would be an awesome chair, but its hard to enjoy a nearly ~$1000 chair if it never arrives.

Absolute Rubbish Company – Hello, I ordered a chair from Secret Lab on the 25th of June. The delivery was expected on the 29th of June. I received a text from their courier service EWE Global, informing me that it is arriving that day. They provided me with a link to keep up with the delivery drivers movements, However the driver never showed up. I never got a message,… Read more

On the 30th I received another text from the courier informing me the delivery was on the way with a different link to follow the drivers movements. Again no one shows up.
I contact the Secret Lab team who tell me to confirm my address as they believe it's wrong. It isn't as you can see by my invoice. They send me a picture of a door claiming the courier took this photo to prove he attempted to deliver the item. However, that picture is of a hotel or high rise building as you can clearly see it says 'Room Number' not apartment or unit. I have no hotels or high rise buildings around me so this is completely false. Furthermore if you look closely you can see they dial room 01. Now I live in Unit 4, Why would you dial room 01 if you are delivering to 'Unit 04'.
As you can see they are clearly lying over and over again. They stopped replying to my emails until I asked for a refund in which they immediately informed me that the item had been shipped again and it was arriving the next day. They also claimed it was supposed to be delivered however there was possibly a traffic accident. They gave me a tracking number which showed the item in Sydney. So of course it didn't arrive the next day, even though they said again it would.
I have asked again and again for a refund as they have not delivered the item and I am sick of hearing lies. I can't even call their courier because their Melbourne number is fake.
Secret Lab are refusing to refund my money because they believe I should have to wait for the item to reach their warehouse. However, I have no idea where the item is and its no my responsibility to track down or hassle the courier they have hired.

Terrible quality, worse customer service – The chair has shockingly loose armrests that rattle with any movement. The customer service team just state "that is how they are designed, 4-d armrests". other chairs it took awhile to realize it was my posture and the chairs I had used. I would slide and slip down and forward into a slouching position. After using my TITAN that pain went away in about 2 months.
About 4 months ago the stitching on the seat started to pull apart. Still feels the same and comfortable but I was left wondering how much longer it would last for a AUD $600 chair.
I checked and found my 5 year warranty was still valid so I contacted support. They said wear and tear is not under the warranty but they would still send free replacement seat and arm rest.
I don't think I could have anything but positive feedback on my experience with the produce and service at Secretlabs
Terrible – The website gave the impression that i was purchasing a premium chair of premium quality. Paid $800 & Got Sent A Broken Chair & they Won't Refund Or Replace. Legal advise is to take them to vcat court. WOW – First time customer experience. Warning!!! Was really hesitant to pay over $800 for a chair but thought I'd go through as I spend a lot of time gaming. Completely regret spending that much money now, can get a better chair for under $500. The chair was delivered damage . Had to spend time emailing them, taking photos and videos, then after few weeks when replacement part arrived the wheelbase started having problems and would spin 180 degrees clockwise by itself when im sitting on it. Then spent hours more on emails, photos, videos and doing manual labour taking the chair apart and putting it back together and now they send small replacement parts instead of the whole wheel base so you have to put it together yourself and need to go buy additional tools and sprays and follow a youtube video of putting it together instead of them sending the whole complete wheel base.
The replacement parts failed and chair is still broken more than ever and they refuse to admit fault claiming it may be my "Uneven floors" and forced me to go buy a level from bunnings ($40 out of pocket expense). When the level showed my floors arent the problem they are still saying "Oh its out of the 49 day refund window" and refusing to answer (see below comments) how it is out of the refund window when the chair was delivered broken from day 1 and I never had a fully functioning chair....

Great Service – My chairs tilt mechanism broke after a year of use, so I contacted the service department. Emmy could not have been more helpful. The email advised the refund won't be initiated until the chair has been returned. The chair hasn't even left the depot yet, so I requested an immediate refund since its still at the depot "Apparently ". They responded no refund until the chair is returned.
Now how is this my fault? So now I have to wait until someone sorts this out until I get my money back? Item never received so refund me. Holding my money hostage. I'm sure it's illegal to hold onto money when a product hasn't been received.

Decent chair, but don't buy it for ergonomics or long sitting periods – I bought the Titan 2020 series chair back in 2019, unfortunately one of the swivel release clips was broken upon opening up the box. was indicative of that components quality. The look and feel outside of the comfort issues was impressive.
Upon first sitting on the chair, what was immediately apparent was the extreme firmness of the seat and the back, to be perfectly honest I wasn't happy from the start, but persisted and gave it a chance.
I was only using the chair for about six months and mainly in the evening for 3-5hr on/off sessions and couldn't really fault the chair too harshly from a comfort perspective other than needing to make sure I got off the chair periodically to negate getting a numb bum.
When covid and WFH arrived, I was spending upwards of 8-12hrs a day in the chair, and unfortunately this is where it started to not be a viable solution.
The seat is just too rigid and hard for extremely long and prolonged usage, where prior to covid/WFH I was utilising more office based ergonomic chairs during the day, during covid/WFH I was using the Titan all the time, unfortunately this lead to a lot of problems including pinched nerves, back issues and just general discomfort
It got so bad that I ended up purchasing a more "heavy usage" ergonomic chair which immediately alleviated a lot of the problems I was having with the Titan.
This isn't a bad chair, but I just wanted to warn folks whom may be spending several hours and consecutive days in a row this chair may not be suitable for you.
I cannot fault Secret Lab on their customer service and I still have the chair and after two or more years it's still in great condition.
