Selleys White For Life Ready To Use Grout

Absolute garbage product ! – I don't know what this stuff is BUT it's not grout, this is more life grout and silicone mixed together. Twice the mess and twice the headache. I followed instructions and found myself removing and refilling parts. Tube mentions White For Life but you need to read the fine print, on the instructions it states "Allow grout to set for 3 days before sealing with Selleys White For Life Sealer for maximum stain resistance" AND THEN "Re-Apply sealer annually or whenever grout has been scrubbed hard" WHAT ?? OMG !! this stuff is harder work than normal grout... !! Sad Selleys, very sad !! OH and Bunnings blocked my bad review on their website for no reason so don't buy into any fake reviews you see there !!

More like glue than grout – The lazy version of me bought this stuff from Bunnings for $30 thinking it would be the same as the powder and I would save 5 minutes of mixing for a small job on shower recess walls - huge regrets.... Goes on like sticky toothpaste. Haze adheres to tiles and is extremely difficult to remove. Finished product had pinholes and will need to be removed and re-grouted. Never had pinholes before using other products. Very dissatisfied.

Selleys White For Life Grout Pre Mixed – Selleys White For Life Grout Pre Mixed in a tub. Its extremely hideous stuff. The pack states that to clean it off tile surfaces after applying that you wash with water, ok seems reasonable. Then after letting it dry for a few hours you rub off the "haze" as they call it with a rag. The so called haze is like a latex rubber that will not rub off no mater how hard you try even though it had only been 12 hours since application.
The only method I found to work to get rid of the haze was with a scouring pad and brake cleaner. Even after using this method of cleaning off the haze I had to keep going over the tiles and checking for patches I'd missed.
The cleaning off of the haze took longer than the laying of the actual tiles. The cleaning process reminded me of cleaning off sticky glue from a jar or similar. Never again.
I am now wondering if Selleys put tile glue in the pot rather than grout, either way its a poor effort on their behalf.
