SIEMENS after sale service - absolutely terrible – Forget it if you want your Siemens appliance serviced. I have a Siemens washing machine that needed a new door seal. After speaking to the Siemens service department 3 times and then 2 service agents I still do not have the washing machine fixed. I was initially told the part was in stock and then I was told it was not in stock and 3 weeks later I am still waiting and have nothing but a leaking washing machine. I would NEVER buy a Siemens appliance again. The service is so bad it is better to buy a cheap appliance and then throw it away because these brands that charge a considerable amount for their product could not care less about service.
This follows several service calls about the washing machine being faulty. The IDos dispenser leaks and the solenoid also failed.
SIEMENS ARE TERRIBLE PRODUCTS FOLLOWED BY TERRIBLE SERVICE

Siemens after-sales service doesn't exist! – I bought a Siemens induction cooktop 18 months ago. It has now stopped working - I can't switch it on. I have been calling Siemens after sales service for four days now and have spent several hours each day on hold because "they re experiencing high call volume"! They also offer a call back service which they say retains your place in the queue. Four days later I am still waiting for a call back!!! I have also tried calling their head office who have told me it just pot-luck as to whether you can gt though to their customer service! The head office reception dek put me through to someone's voicemail and that person has still not called me back after two days!! I have no idea how to get my cooktop (which is still under warranty) repaired if the customer service desk is impossible to reach. Anyone considering purchasing any siemens product should seriously reconsider their choice. If you have any problems you have little prospect of getting them fixed.
No customer service is available even for products under warranty
Siemans & Bosch=Rubbish. Buy an Australian brand next time.
I have to agree about Siemens service. I bought a very expensive gas cooktop, which was DOA. Initially, they wanted me to wait two weeks for service, until I got the store I bought it from to intervene (they sent me a new cooktop) That one is also faulty. Siemens sent a serviceman, who couldn't figure out what the fault was, so gone off to discuss it with the technical department. That was two weeks ago. BTW, I am also experiencing the "busy with other calls" phone calls, every time I call. I bought THREE Siemens appliances, so now am getting very concerned about them all
Has the Siemens customer service improved? I want to buy the sensor fry induction cook top....
Couldn't agree more, a simple phone call ends up taking 15 minutes. If you have a dispute with siemens expect lengthy delays.
Further to my other comment, my siemens oven which cost $1800 blew a light globe after 13 months into a 5 year warranty. Rang up customer service they charged me $14 plus postage. How stingy. You get better service from cheap brands.
