You get what you pay for! – The Winnings team introduced us to Siemens when we renovated our kitchen. You must ensure the induction cookware you have is compatiable with the. We fing it Eeasy to use, easy to clean and is super fast on “boost” setting. The different zones you can use make it easy to cook different meals (small and large) and the cluster of controls are intuitive. After use and when it's cooled it's so easy to clean with a damp micro fibre cloth. I have owned this cooktop for 4 years now and it looks as good as the day it was installed.
Purchased in at Winning Appliances for $2,817.
Fantastic, BUT – First, the hob is awesome in its functions and power. But the support and quality has given us a bad experience. Almost immediately a fine crack appeared on the front edge (It was so new, it was being treated with kid gloves, there's no way we damaged it). I rang, and was told that this is not warranted, felt brushed off. Over time, there is now a sharp (can cut yourself) edge piece come away, and the fine crack, which could easily have been there on delivery, is extending inwards. It will be useless soon.
I don't mind problems, but with German made and a good warranty, I don't expect to have a manufacturing defect brushed aside, they really should just fix it. I later got told by someone that they are not good glass. This model has been round for ages - part of why we chose it, that's usually a good sign.
Previous induction lasted us 15 years, with no damage, until we refreshed the kitchen. Maybe should have kept that one!
Purchased in at Winning Appliances NSW for $4,000.
....NB, it was paid for in 2021, but not delivered until 2022, and we first tried to talk to them about it shortly thereafter.

Siemens did agree to repair the hob, and it has been excellent since.
Terrific unit. Makes cooking a pleasure ! – We have had this new unit installed and working now for 2 months. Cannot speak highly enough of it. Loads of features that allow for the use or isolation of cooktop areas plus accurate heat control. A big bonus is that as it is induction, we have not yet had to clean the surface of spills etc. The cooktop surface still looks brand new ! In our homes we have only ever cooked on electric and this is by far the best !

Cooktop is great! – We have had the cooktop installed for a little over a year now. My previous cooktop was very simple and just had dials to turn it on and off. This cooktop has taken a little getting used to the digital controls and some of the functions. I mainly use it by turning the heat up / down / on and off however it does have some handy functions including a timer, boost for quickly heating up something and more. We have had some issues with the centre cooktop element as not all my pans (that work fine on other parts of the cooktop) are picked up by the sensor so it does turn off at times if the cooktop doesn't sense its there. It can be a little annoying to clean as I like to get it shiny again, however this is something that really just takes practice and it certainly easier compared to other cooktops I have used. The most sections I have used in 1 go has been 3 and it has worked well during these times, not sure when / if I will use all 5. And being an induction cooktop I like that the element / glass is not too hot when you remove anything from the cooktop. Overall very happy with the product, really want it to last a long time.

Siemens reached out when this review was unpublished, and said they'd get in touch. I provided the info they asked for, and there's been silence for a month. It is really disappointing.
