Sigg Design Drinking Bottle

Very dissapointed, their reputation is way overblown – We have had the SIGG water bottle for about a year with only water ever being inside and used for a toddler. I have noticed a very black, what I thought was deposit on the inside of the bottle. not hygenic, I am very concerned as to how much of the coating was actually ingested by my child. I've read other reviews and this is obviously not an uncommon for these bottles.

Not that flash – I brought three of these off the internet last year (genuine SIGG). One for me and two for my kids to take to school. get very hot and tend to heat up the liquid iside very quickly on a hot day, more so than plastic bottles and thirdly i dont like the screw in lids. Bit hard to exercise on the treadmill and stop to unscrew the lid. Given i did buy a new flip top lid for it at a nice price of $45 icluding postage which the lid fell off after a couple of weeks and even then you have to screw the lid around to drink from it.

So no I would not buy again and feel a little ripped off given the expensivemess of them and they have now found there way to the salvation army. kind of cool to look at. expensive, not good quality, gets hot, dont like the lids.

buying the inner lining started to peel away leaving a very rough area around the lip. Parts of this lining periodically peel away and have had to be torn off. Given I have only ever put water in it, I expected more. Beautiful designs Price and durability
