location of the shelf ie about 1/4 way down from top. I wonder if the other exploding shelves were located in same part of fridge and there is a problem with that particular location in fridge. Don't know exactly when purchased but was from Bond and Bond NZ.

Christmas day almost ruined – Our 2016 Christmas lunch was almost ruined when another shelve exploded inside the fridge. prawns and oysters would not get ruined. Two shelves gone and we have found that another has a nasty crack in it. I should have made this the beer fridge and stuck with the old noisy but reliable fridge. Currently we have two wooden laminated shelves doing the job. Very very annoying and probably expensive end to 2016

First and last experience with Simpson products!! – Was great for the first 12 months - then noticed ice cream was often ' soft' and milk kept going ' off' quickly !! Queried this & was told to increase cold dial, didn't work on max. Got it checked, but they found nothing- still plays up and spoils food. Glass shelving also 'exploded' and shattered by itself. Phone personnel at customer services exceptionally uninterested & unhelpful!!! Appalling customer service!!

Excellent – I love this fridge. It is also very quiet. Freezer is spacious. Everything is easily removable so there is no problem with any spills. doesn't show up dirt or fingerprints. It looks really good in the house. It was much bigger than I expected. More accessories would be good. I wish the crisper was bigger or there were more of them.

Excellent – I couldn't believe myself when I saw the fridge. For the price it is it gives you more than any other fridge avaliable on the market. It has almost no problems and I would recommend this fridge to anyone. Simple and Easy to use. Made in the same factory as a Westinghouse - only difference is the internal plastic frame. Great price as well and the handle isn't plastic. Occasionally a bit noisy but stops after a while.
