was a first timer and Melita walked me through and held my hand every step of the way. We encountered a few unexpected issues during the demolition, and George and his team were proactive in working with us to find suitable solutions. They would meet me on site and explain what was happening and provided an endless list of options. They communicated clearly throughout the entire process and nothing was ever too much trouble. We then had some time before we were ready to demolish existing buildings. Site Demolition were happy to wait until we were ready. By paying a deposit, we locked in the quote as provided. Once we were ready to proceed, Site Demolition were easy to deal with. We were provided with clear instructions in relation to what we were required to do. very unease before the entire process with Site Demotion Starts.

When we start negotiating with Site Demotion, their price is reasonable, not the low ones to attract you in then blew you up when the job starts. Not the high one which claim to cover everything as Site Demotion does not want you to pay for something which might not happen. Their price covers what they can predict and add clear clause for what could possibly happen. During the negations period, they are very up front and patient to explain the clause and possibility. At that point, I started building trust but still unsure till the real process kick in.

The demotion is not an easy job as it involves regulation, various scenarios for example, tree lopping and tree protection. Their office admin lady is very patient and knowledgeable to explain everything and give us the possible option they can offer. In that period, I made mistake not using their recommended tree lopper which caused me a lot of stress and mess. Again, luckily, I am using Site Demotion. The boss George is so helpful and so calm &cool to help me out of stress and got me out of trouble. They always help when clients need them.

As stated in the beginning, I only want to pay for what could happen. During demolition, we found out my previous landlord has buried a asbestos and bricks and other construction material. Not like what I heard in the market and not like what my neighbour just experienced that some other doggy demolition companied poured in asbestos and blew up the cost. Site Demotion called me immediately and invited me to the site before digging. I saw with my own eyes. They have assigned a young fellow just to pick up asbestos and wrapped them up in bags. All the bags laid alongside, and photos are taken. Anything unexpected, they stopped and emailed to explain. Clients are more than welcome to visit the site for the findings. Not only the honesty and information Site Demolition offers but also, they tried to help clients to reduce the cost. If they can bear in they will do their best. They are professional and helpful when it comes down to sort out surprise and issues for clients. Even after all has been done, George the boss gives the promise if anything goes wrong with the demolition, they will come back. They really do.

The whole experience dealing with Site Demolition is the professional, the calmness, the honesty and the help. The Site Demolition actually changed my view about this industry. There is integrity, honesty and great service. The entire experience to deal with them is unforgettable. From their boss to the site staff, from sales to office admin. I would never know it can be so stress free when you start the journey of building your dream home. It is such stressful task in my life, but Site Demolition gave me the peace of mind and confidence to continue my house building journey. they did the knockdown part of a knockdown-rebuild on the upper north shore of Sydney. They were great and I would use them again. For details of the whole process, see below:

BOOKING: I contacted Rhoda and she had a coherent, clear quote and explanation of the process in my hands very quickly.

QUOTE: The quote was clear and was very, very reasonable.

COMMUNICATION: Barbara responded very quickly to any queries I had

DEMOLITION PROCESS: Appropriate fences and sediment control were installed. A metal clothesline that we wanted removed was removed correctly. Trees and bushes that we wanted preserved, were carefully preserved. I was updated regularly. My wife dropped by during the demolition and the staff on the site were polite to her and were attentive to her requests.

ASBESTOS: When some hidden asbestos was found ( the existence of this had been confirmed separately by other tradespeople and I was sent photographic evidence, so this was definitely not a scam ) I was given three different options for dealing with this. The cheapest and simplest option was recommended to me ( emu picking the waste and disposing of it separately ) and I chose it. The weight bridge docket informs me that there was 7.5 tonnes of asbestos contaminated waste.

I paid an extra $4400 for the asbestos. In contrast, I know of someone who was charged an extra $10,000 when one solitary sheet of asbestos was found during a bathroom renovation !! ( There are some shonky people in this industry )

SITE POST DEMOLITION: We inspected the site afterwards and it was left in good condition ( at least to my inexpert eyes)

CERTIFICATION: We were sent the appropriate certificates minutes after we paid the final invoice.

COST: Including the additional asbestos ( 7.5 tonnes of contaminated waste ) and GST the total cost was around 32 K I just spoke to a builder I know who told me that I got a very, very reasonable price.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: Most importantly to us, Site Demolition did not upset our neighbours and we still remain on good term with them !!!

My Demolition has only just been completed and found Site Demolition fantastic to work with. Site Demolition found hidden asbestos under the floor and as such I incurred additional costs, however I was instantly informed by email with relevant photos and costs. Living locally I could see their progress during the demolition and found that their communication mirrored the works onsite. I could also see their crew cleaning the roadway each afternoon before they left site, something the neighbours appreciated.

original quotation; however, Rhonda and the team did an adequate job to explain the process, complexity and cost drivers to safely remove and dispose of waste. At the very end, there were a number of sizable concrete chunks remaining on our site. Once shared this with the team, my feedback was shared quickly. I was asked to remove the concrete by myself (which took over a few hours with a hammer / axe), and one of the team members did come and collect the concrete waste from our site (relatively quickly). Our builders Domaine homes are now building on site.

Dust to dust …. Site Demo is a must !!! – Site Demo were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Despite bad weather the job was carried out on time, professionally and with the outmost of professional courtesies. Recommend them without a doubt!!

Fantastic demolisher – Site demolition is a very professional demolisher. They are quoting very reasonable pricing with all the inclusive and there is no hidden charge afterwards. This is the first time that I have been dealing with a demolisher but it was quite simple and smooth to get the work done. Site demolisher also advised to have sediment and erosion control as option. My only suggestion for improvement is that the contract could be written in a clearer manner, with the use of subheadings. It makes it easier to read and takes less effort to navigate through the heavy texts of information.

Great customer service, Job was less impressive - Not as lucky as some others – Came as a recommendation from Builder, great customer service, Job was less than impressive. Job was outsourced to another company without our knowledge, outcome was terrible, damage to side retaining wall, land was left like a lunar landscape.
