SodaKing Spark Soda Maker

Initially, l was a little disappointed with the Sodaking. It's not as simple to use as the Sodastream(only one button but still) and water would go everywhere until l learned that you have to hit the button, gas it then let it rest and repeat until you get the required carbonation. I would prefer the Sodastream but Sodaking does give you more flexibility to gas up your water. Recommended. Show details

Sodaking - Fantastic buy – Easy to set up & use. I like 3 shots of gas instead of the recommended 2. More bubbles. I ordered the raspberry concentrate as well, disappointed it has artificial sweeteners but on saying that, I should have checked the ingredients. Show details

Piece of crap – Just assembled brand new soda king spark and not working no matter how hard I have tried. Cannot get any good advice. Was asked if I have tried another gas canister and I live 10 hours from where I purchased it. So I cannot just nip down to the shop to buy another. Very disappointed. Show details

liter soda king bottles i bought work fine. the cola flavour is good , its not coke but good enough and better than pepsi from the other mob.

getting water all over. Usually, when the cylinder gets to half full and the pressure is a bit lower, the water splashing improves somewhat. It got really bad about a month ago and then the bubbles just wouldn't flow at all. I eventually replaced the small internal seal that came with it as a spare and it started bubbling again but only when pressed really hard with a lot of splashing. Then the next day, I found that the nearly full cylinder just somehow leaked out and was empty. I replaced it and used the machine for a couple of weeks always having to press hard to get the bubbles. Then again one morning I found the cylinder, which was about 2/3 full, empty. The Soda King is really frustrating to use and I now have to loosen the cylinder after use to prevent the $$ hissing out while left alone.

Very cheaply made imitation – Terrible seals. Poor build quality, cheap imitation of another key brand. Would avoid at all cost. Rubber bottle seals, get lost on first use. Machine spews all over bench regardless of operation proceedure. Show details

Mostly OK, but not quite right – Bought this to make soft drinks, and it mostly works, but I've had a few issues with it. - On some occasions, carbonation causes water to go everywhere, and I can't see a reason for that. Great customer service – Wasn't fizzing the water so I rang customer support and got great guidance from Deanne. The sewing needle up the white tube worked, but it took a few goes. Yay, fizzy water at last. No more shop plastic bottles to throw out. Show reply

Sparkling water at your fingertips – I luv this product but unfortunately had an issue with fitting replacement cylinders. Soda King Windsor – This is a basic machine that produces fantastic soda water. After a few trials and error it is easy to reach the desired level of bubbles. is no catchment on the base of the machine. It is handy to have at least two bottles to keep in the fridge. Gas refills are readily available.

Have gone through 5 in the last 2 months – These have cylinders that go up into it. the back doesn't come off. It looks great, but I think that design has some flaws. bottom. I ended up getting a refund from Kogan/Amazon and going with Soda Stream. The very first Soda King was the bomb and so much better than Soda stream, but this design is severely flawed.

Great but with one flaw – Our old soda stream packed it in, so we replaced it with a Soda King. It's great, carbonates well and we use it all the time. One thing I think is missing, that the sodastream had is some sort of drip tray. Excellent Product - Buy Australian Owned – I have owned my SodaKing for 6 years and it died this week after being used almost everyday. Our family churns through a gas cylinder every month. I find it gases chilled water better than water straight from the tap, we have several bottles of chilled water in the fridge ready to go. I will definitely be purchasing another. Show details ·  1

Ditto of other failures – I should have read the reviews before my purchase! As with some others, its fizz lasted one bottle, the rest leaking away over the next 36 hours. A design failure where the CO2 button doesn't / can’t properly return to a closed position. At least I know now what the slight odour in the kitchen was( the gas being slowly released through plastic tubing as I know CO2 by itself is odourless) Show details

Not bubbly, goes flat within 24hrs – First machine was faulty. The top button didn't work at all, took it back they tested at the store- faulty. Replacement one tested before purchase. Makes water bubbly for an hour only. Tried several ways, gassed it up Antilles it over flowed.... still didn't stay bubbly. Waist of money. Show details

Super unit – I bought a Soda King setup at Spotlight because it was on special. It is so easy to use and I have gotten months out of one gas bottle. The unit has saved us more in buying soda, in the first 3 months than the cost of the unit. Thanks Soda King and well done. Show details ·  1

Wonderful machine – I purchased a SodaKing to try to get my mother to drink more water (it worked). The whole family loves it. I also have one and it makes town water bearable to drink even without adding syrups. To those out there who say it isn't bubbly enough. I add a slow steady stream of gas until it's vented about 3-5 times. Just keep experimenting to find the best "fizz" for you. Show details ·  1

Typical new age machine failure – I bought for Christmas, it made 2 litres of drink then stated to fail, not sure if the gas cylinder was empty or the button just doesn’t depress correctly. Had to go back to buying normal side water and just adding the flavours.  Show details
