SodaStream Fizz

Great for Summer! – The Soda Stream is easy to use and looks fantastic. There are great flavours to add to your carbonated water or you can enjoy it as is. Replacement gas canisters are easy to replace and you can also purchase extra bottles to store extra flavours in the fridge ready to use!

Incompetent service, poor product – We decided to get a SodaStream just after xmas and, due to most of the stores being out of stock due to the post-xmas sales, we decided to buy a Fizz online at the SodaStream website. The first issue arose when the Fizz (and 6 drink flavors) still hadn't arrived after a month. Upon contacting SodaStream, I discovered they'd failed to give both address lines to TOLL IPEC who had been trying to deliver the package 8 times but continuously logging a failure to deliver. I was told to contact TOLL and sort it out; I'm not entirely sure why I was spending my own time following up their mistakes, but I did as asked.

After some back and forthing for a few days, TOLL informed me that they'd already sent it back to SodaStream a week previous. So, back to SodaStream who finally admitted they had it and decided to send it again (my threat of calling the ACCC may or may not have assisted the process).

It finally arrived about 6 weeks after the original order date and has lasted two weeks. It no longer carbonates correctly and appears to be running out of gas despite the indicator being at 50%. Sounds like a rubber seal has busted after around 15-20 bottles and I'm not confident in contacting customer service after the last experience.
