Sony Vaio VGN-SZ38GP

OK – i've had 2 slim vaio laptops in the past and both have the same problem - noise and overheating. i managed to open up the laptop and cleaned the fan with a can of compressed air, definitely needs regular cleaning as the fan can accumulate lots of dust. after cleaning the fan, the noise is much quieter but my hard drive is making a lot of noise now. overall, average laptop for occasional use. the laptop is very slim and light. great to have as a laptop on the go. the laptop is prone to overheating. the fan and hard drive makes a lot of noise.
