Southern Cross Camper Coral Sea Pearl

Great camper but not bug free – Bought the camper in August 2018 from Southern Cross Camper Trailers in Perth WA. First time setting up the full Camper was easy until we got to the annex set up which became a 4-hour job for us as we had no instructions and had to figure it out our selves. Good news is this can only get better now…right? Door and Step access- I don't like the side door as you cant zip up properly as the door is in the way. I had a look at similar design from other companies (Blackseries and Lumberjack) and prefer their drop down door as this allows the door to be out the way to zip up the tent. Would provide better clearance with steps removed when towing.

The zip on roof works well. Would have been great if the sides and floor zipped on like the roof instead of Velcro. Perhaps this will be considered for future designs

Roof material is a challenge to clean, (especially from bird poo). I would suggest future roof material to be like the floor material as this will be much easier to clean.

Service has been great from the team in Perth and they have been very helpful.

In summary the camper is easy to tow and priced well unfortunately it does not seal well and allows for mosquitos and midgies to bother a good nights rest due to the many gaps in sealing the tent.
