Very conservative, does have fakes (mostly Asian woman overseas But in OZ too) – I found a nice Asian lady living in NSW. But actually living overseas!. She ended up trying to scam me $1700. But for ages nice. Really 'liked' me. Easy to get sucked in. So filtering out Asian woman only works if they declared they are. Spice of Life runs no checks on residence. Besides that really conservative site. Maybe o.k. for minority of people, but overall hopeless / small chance of anything real. Show details

What a cheat and play!!! – I do not believe a word this site. I was nearly frauded with a woman name: Tam Dycer. Somebody using her name and photos, and the end when i ask to ring me or go to SKYPE, just never happened. Even i told ring me rivers charge. Be careful and go strait to talk and see the person. Phillipina Girls – I also was scammed $7000 by a Phillipina Girl 30 years of age from General Santos city and she contacted me from Spice of Life dating site. Please beware of this thing it will get you to buy airline tickets and have you wait at the airport only to never arrive and pay and cry for money. My advice is you can never ever trust a Phillipina girl.

Very good site – I found spice of life to be a great, uncomplicated dating site, without the nonsense and expense of most of the other sites. The prices on match.com and mature love.com are ridiculous. I sent one free message back and received an automated reply that message couldn't go through because it contained membership details, what I said I couldn't read the email he had sent. What a load of bulldust what do I have keep it a secret that I couldn't read his email. I sent them a reply and no reply so I won't be bothering with website sounds like a scam to me. What are they hoping I'll depart with some of my money for this lot of rubbish.

ago and they are the most amazing couple I know. After talking to them and their experiences, I checked it out and joined as well. At first I was put on favorite lists by attractive young women from Phillipines or China as well but the solution to it was simple, just checked the country settings and no more of that happened. Besides, it is not the site's problem people want to find someone here in Australia from over there, if that's what you want then go for it. I think this site is much less monitored unlike others where you cannot even give your email address when you contact people because they want you to only communicate through the site. Anyway I find this one to be a down to earth, uncomplicated website to get in touch with real people in Australia or overseas. I gave it 5 stars mainly because of the incredible difference in cost compared to other sites. However if you want more frills, chat rooms, competitions, webcams, blogs etc, then perhaps this is not the one for you. Inexpensive (the lowest price out there), easy to use, effective, plenty of active people. Search needs some work, some categories are not available in search.
