Sprout Nomad III Bluetooth Speaker

Cheapest and best sound quality – Just because something is cheap, doesn’t mean it’s terrible. This louder and has has better sound quality than a well known more expensive brand. Just brought their headphones for drumming and couldn’t be happier.

Weak - and be careful of the model names – Bought this as I wanted to get aussie company quality - and thought I was getting a Nomad 3 / Nomad III. Based on the RRP you would think its a heavy hitter. Nup. Got the Nomad 3 Mi which is much smaller than the Nomad 3 (I thought it was on special and thus cheaper). Be very very careful to read well as their model names are confusing due to being too similar. Anyway the 12W Nomad Mi is gutless, no bass I've tried it on varying surfaces to try and improve it to no avail. It took the shop ages to figure out why mine was so small as even they could not make head nor tails of the model names and specs. The support person at Sprout was just dismissive so that's why I've come here. The biggest one (the 3 not the 3 Mi) is $180 to $240 at varying stores and considering its only 2/3 the power of a JBLCharge4, and similar price, I'd give Sprout's whole range a miss.
Back to JBL and Sony etc for me.
