Stanley 5.5HP 2500PSI PW6655 Questions & Answers
No vacuum in the detergent line to suck up with. Value is not blocked. Have removed and cleaned it. Have adjusted water regulator to several positions, no change. What else would it be?
Dunno. Use a large jet in the lance. Also, suspend the detergent bottle from the handle so that the detergent siphons down to the pump, not draw up to it.
do u have in stock a 68 recoil starter pw6655rs

can you buy gaskets for the carburetter
I guess so. I changed the whole carb and bought one online when I snapped the mixture screw on the original carb. It was glued in position.
What is the name and model of the motor
Dunno. One of those OHV Honda clones that you can buy for a couple of hundred.
I have a Stanley 5.5hp 2500psi pressure washer it runs and sprays until I let the trigger go then the motor stops ? Any idea wats going on
Sounds like the idle jet is choked. Mine had the mixture screw glued so you couldn't just wind it in to crush whatever is in there then wind it out 1 and 1/4 turns which is the go with most carbs. I bought an aftermarket carb on ebay. It doesn't have the mixture screw glued into one position so you can remove and clean the idle circuit with compressed air if you had to.
The other thing they don't like is large nozzles, especially the rotor heads that have 2 nozzles. Causes them to stall on take off. I just run mine with choke about half on with larger jets which is just enough mixture to stop the motor hunting when you're not spraying. And it doesn't stall when you pull the trigger and hit it with instant demand.
