Starmaid Fridge Mate

Fantastic... but so hard to find! – These containers are amazing. I have bought strawberries in their punnets only to find them mouldy a day later. These little green boxes will keep the berries fresh for over a week (If they are fresh to start.. cannot perform miracles on mouldy fruit!) Fantastic for salad leaves & herbs. I want more of these containers but my local stores don't have them. (Tamworth, NSW) Please post if you know where I can get them. They'll be great for camping.

best I have ever bought – found they live up to the name, was rather dubious when I bought my first just before Christmas for tomatoes, found they keep for at least two weeks without having to throw them out, where as before left loose in the fridge I would find quite often I would throw many out. bought one for lettuce, and have just gone and bought one for celery & cucumbers, maybe need another one for capsicums later. I highly recommend them to friends and anyone that maybe browsing through the shelves where they are stored reliable, and inexpensive now I know how good they work nothing as yet

The proof is in the pudding! – The best as far as I am concerned. My salad greens stayed crisp and fresh for weeks (2 - 3). Before I discovered Starmaid Fridge Mate, my chicory would start getting soggy and wilted in a week. I would have to snip off the wet soggy parts and end up with a little than half. Since keeping them in this fridge mate, I can see the big difference. Even my partner who refuses to have to transfer his chickory from the grocery bag to this fridge mate is now diligently doing it because his chickory stayed fresh and crisp for a long time. My problem now is it is out of stock... I need to get more! Ease of use and the dual vent. So easy to clean too.
